Greeting, Ms. AA! You are so correct regarding logic vs syntax. As a CS and Engineering major now working in industry I try to explain this to people all the time. If you are a real technical professional, the problem that you are solving is oftentimes many times more difficult than the programming language. The tool is secondary to the scientific or business problem to be solved. Programming languages and such are just tools for solving problems. If the logic and thinking is not there, you can even write a perfect program that doesnât solve the problem at hand. When I was in undergrad, we even had open book programming tests and people would still fail. To steal your phrase âyou know whyâ. đ

I took a course in Pascal. I was ahead of my class. Ahead of all my class mates. Got my A but I knew nothing. Spent $90 for Turbo Pascal. Read the book. Now I can program in Pascal. College class worthless.
I can relate, sometimes after taking a full course with a good grade, you still donât have the necessary skill. We really have to do more outside college!

I have decided to postpone my plans of becoming a research nurse in Atlanta after completing my nursing program in Nigeria due to certain reasons.
I have noticed that many American nurses are leaving the field of medicine, even after advancing from bedside nursing to travel nursing. I was hoping that becoming a research nurse would provide a solution for some American nurses, but from my research, it seems rare in that setting.
Which other career paths aside software engineering can an aspirant explore in Nigeria in the world of Tech .
