Μπράβο Πέτρο.
One of the best watch related clips ever.
I was eight yeats old in 1969. Watching this video, seeing this watch and seeing it all happen through a childs eyes I was a bit misty. The moon watch, the speedmaster is a one watch for life watch. Get one, never let it go and wear it every day. Its an Icon and one tough watch. As a watch geek I have never owned one but know I have to have one.
Terrific video. Well done.
Excellent, thank you 🚀👍👍
Alright now i know for certain, i am saving up for a Omega Speedmaster MOTM
@@mafia1953 i got mine on March 2020 it's a great watch and i just got an rolex cellini 50505 it so fuckin great. I hope yu got some piece of art someday
Incredible stuff!
This Omega is incredible! This is no Limited Edition, this no Speedy Tuesday, this is no Olympic occasion watch, this is no Anniversary special, this is no Manufactured hype. This IS the original Speedmaster that flew to the moon and back that everyone Omega homage watch has copied since. This is no over-polished Ed White special! This is the true original that those astronauts flew to the moon ACTUALLY wore. Move aside Snoopy; God your creator has arrived!
Superb video, may I point out that Gene Cernan wore this watch on Gemini 9 and Apollo 10 but an Omega 105.012-66 on lunar EVAs during Apollo 17...
This 105.003 was worn underneath the spacesuit on a steel mesh JB champion bracelet
I wonder if the Hesalite was cracked due to contact with the inside of the suit wrist ring…
4:47 and the reason why looking at his watch on the moon reminded Cernan of home was because his watch was set to Houston time - where he lived.
I saw his watch (which never saw lunar vacuum) - see comment below - in the museum two days ago. Worth a visit.
4:18 the older 105.003 Speedmaster was on the steel mesh JB Champion bracelet
man on the phucken moon
I was given a Speedmaster 51 years ago as a BD gift only 10 days after Buzz walked on the moon. Buzz had an original .321 movement. Mine was the .861 which has an extra jewel, but also a plastic piece in it. They say the .861 is a little more accurate, but it's not identical the original moon watch inside. It's almost identical in other ways. The newer ones have guards around the pushers for the chronograph and the hands are different. But I think I'll still wear it because it still runs 51 years later
@@RussFortson I'm not sure when or if the .861 was worn on the moon. I you know, please advise. I know Neil's .321 Speedy was left hanging on the LM's panel because I heard the Bulova built-in panel clock stopped working. That's why Buzz's .321 was first on the moon, Neil left his hanging on the LM panel.
But do you know if any other .321s were worn on any other Apollo missions and if or when the .861s ever took over? Or were they interposed? I believe the .861s were built in the late summer or fall of 1968 by Omega, but I'm not positive. I wish an Omega employee would give us some data on this. Thanks for your comment.
Too cool
Phuck me dead, still pushing this watch? You make archieluxury proud.
Awesome video guys!
I bought one a week ago and haven’t taken it off my wrist yet and have it on my wrist in bed on NATO while sleeping last 3 nights . My other watches I am worried about 🤣. I hope the honeymoon wears off so I can give my other watches attention. And winding it daily is pure intimacy I had no idea of . I keep it going . I hold the responsibility and have no issue with holding . Nobody knows when or where I wind it , they just know I and only I keep it running
I didnt know a watch could walk much less in the moon 👣⌚
What was the original’s size and caliber?
Man, the way he was waving it around on the palm of his hand, I was really worried he was going to drop it.
They should put it on eBay for $25,000 buy it now
I didn't know watches could walk lol

Ive own this model
Lmfao he never went too the moon
I know and the world's flat aswell surrounded by a gigantic ice wall which is being guarded by some secret army
@@Tom-db9hr no secret. is the nights king army. sadly they lost in winterfell..
You mean the watch that walked in the Area 51 movie studio?
I dont believe non of that moon nonsense. I just came here to hear about watches. 😁
There’s no such a thing .
Daytona homage.
@@kierenmoore3236 hahahah the daytona copied the speedmaster man
petros is one heck of a story teller. nice work guys! 👍
Indeed, but Cernan's NASA-issued Speedmaster 105.003 (n° 28) was worn underneath the space suit on Apollo 10 and Apollo 17.
As last man on the Moon, Cernan wore NASA-issued Speedmaster 105.012 (n° 67) on velcro over the suit and NASA n° 28 on steel mesh underneath the A7LB space suit !
