I met David Suchet outside a theatre in London some years ago, he was so friendly & kind, he let me inside the stage door as it was very cold outside & he let have a couple of photos with him.
In my opinion, one of the best musical themes composed for film ever. Remembered it since childhood and keep coming back to listen every once in a while.

People go on in interviews about how such and such actor "becomes his role" during a performance, but in David Suchet's case, there legitimately is no other way to describe it. My man's portrayal of Poirot is more of a real person than my own portrayal of myself in reality. This series will never be forgotten.

I came across this ‘show’? When on holiday. There was no internet there so I was searching through the basic tv channels they have and found this. I have to say it’s really good.
I first saw an episode about a month ago, on a complete lark. Its the episode where Poirot is at a all girls academy and a princess goes missing. Ive been on a mission to grow that mustache ever since i saw it on hd. Aside from that, I really enjoyed the episode...I must watch more of this masterpiece.

After 25 years he is still the only real Hercule Poirot.

Holmes is great detective, but with fantasy elements. Poirot on the other hand don't need Holmes ways and tricks, only his mind and deduction.
