  • Reynisfjara is a world-famous black-sand beach found on the South Coast of Iceland, just beside Vik í Myrdal, which is the southernmost village on the mainland of Iceland.
Reynisfjara is not the only black-sanded beach in Iceland, but it is probably the most iconic. As an island simmering with volcanic activity, some of Iceland's beaches have black sand because the sand is ground down from black volcanic rock formed when lava cools and solidifies.
The South Coast in Iceland is packed with outstanding sights visited all around the clock by nature enthusiasts. Gljúfrabúi always stayed under the radar even though the beautiful Seljalandsfoss waterfall is right next to it and the road to Þórsmörk Valley is nearby.
This video was recorded in November, winter time.
