Lucifer was one of the best & excellent movies in the Malayalam industry. Mohanlal Acting skill was excellent par. This movie cannot be replaced with any other movie. The acting of children, even church father, Indrajeet and Vivek Oberoi was awesome. Original will always be the best. Especially Dialogue delivery is outstanding.
Church father is director fasil, legendary malayalam director, manichitrathazhu his movie, his son is fahad fasil.
Ya.. not a lot of malayalam movies remake to other languages did well. Because they fail the contain the essential of the story and the characters. Casting is very important too. If actors are not humble enough to do justice to the script disaster will Hit the boxoffice.

Lucifer have different layers of story in it, and it's shoted very decently, in Godfather they not considering murali gopis script at all ,they only see the masala items, totally killing Lucifer
The original Lucifer is having different way of approach of story telling, camera work, editing, music.. scene by scene you can visualise the briliance of director and bunch of expertise related to movie.. the acting of Mohanlal was remarkable.. the charecter of Mohanlal as Stephen in Lucifer is a gradual transormation from white to grey shades .. which is rare to see in movies around globe. It's also based on a theme.. which is well narrated..
The other one.. godfather is much like ordinary films, there are lots of revenge stories and all..
The charecter done by Salman Khan in Godfather was done by prithviraj in original film. Prithviraj himself being director of the movie.. and he is also an actor .. still his screen presence was only made in adequate time... But salman khan charecter .. took lead in remake movie.. Which is unnecessary..
The remake movie was typically made for telugu audience.. they love to watch male Chauvinism charecter.. sorry to tell so.. mostly male dominace would be there in many industries.. but it's bitt too much portrayed in telungu.. might be audience love so.. some of the actress did tell the same comments..
The director didn't do much compromise.. in script of Murali gopi.. they just wanted to make a brilliant movie.. the other movie is fan centric approach..

What godfather missed is actual theme of the movie lucifer. This movie is more inclined to "devilish" side than a "god'ish" part. U can see that in many sequences like the car number plate is having "666" and words like evil and devil are used. Even they quoted that "the god is died" for dramatic purpose which makes the original more inclined towards a dark theme. And also the climax or maybe we can say the pre-credit scene is on another level in the original version
