I absolutely love this haircut. I'm a retired hair stylist and it amazes me how many (so called) stylist do not understand cutting natural fall, especially over the ear area. I love wearing an inverted bob with decreased graduation on the sides and increased graduation in the back. I just wish I could find someone who knows how to cut it.
I think people thought the picture at the beginning finished was the before. I loved the look. I used to use the Kendra products but I am going to buy the volume builder ASAP. I need volume like that. Her hair looked so pretty and full. I miss working in a salon . ❤. I don’t miss standing on my feet. Wear good shoes.
Hi Kenra, this was so gorgeously done and very clear! I have a question, I had a haircut today and requested literally this but my stylist didn't give me any layers (and I'm not sure if she did a rough cut or a straight cut either), currently my hair looks like a round helmet. Like silly round, can I give myself those layers at home or is it too risky? It's just hair so it will grow, but I'm quite sad to not have the movement and whispiness of this hairstyle (I can't go back to the salon, I left the country). Many thanks :)
Hi Tamara! Yes, that's right. We're using somewhat of a straight/square length with a slight over direction. Decreasing the diagonal as we go up the head helps keep the over direction minimal and preserves the length.
Thanks Bernadine! We'll keep your feedback in mind for future videos. Cutting on dry hair vs damp hair is a personal stylist preference. Damp hair can most often help with control.
I did shampoo the scalp. That was not included in the viedo. Shampoo is most importantly for the scalp. I am a licensed professional as well and definitely not lazy ;)
Love the Italian bob! It’s so interesting to see the small details in the cut that make such a beautiful difference in the result. So much volume!
Yay! We're glad you like it! Thanks for watching Lorraine! 😊

I wish I could find someone who knows how to cut STYLE into hair like this.
Do they ever answer questions on this channel? I’d love to find someone who can cut this.
Hi Sheila! Thanks for watching! Share this video with your local stylist for inspiration.
@@trixie9777me too!!!
I love this cut! Will this work on coarse hair as well?
Yes! Coarser hair types my need a little more fine tuning with layering but this style is definitely achievable!
You gave hair double the thickness😮
Yess!!! Give the Volume Mist 2 a try!
Nice cut.. Beautiful model
Thanks for watching Yet Singh Wong! 🥰🥰
Néxt to the last pic was the best
Thanks for watching Doris! ❤️
What do you mean by diagonal forward?
❤❤❤
Thanks for watching Greenday1201! 🥰🥰
Would this cut work for natural wavy hair
Yes! Tension is key in this type of hair cut! Show this video to your local stylist for inspiration.
Hello it’s really beautiful work. Did you twist the hair in the first section ?
Hi Penchan! The first section was not twisted. We created a diagonal forward sectioning and then cut a straight/square length with no tension.
It looks like you took more dramatic forward diagonal partings in the back then on top is that right?
Hi Tamara! Yes, that's right. We're using somewhat of a straight/square length with a slight over direction. Decreasing the diagonal as we go up the head helps keep the over direction minimal and preserves the length.
I'm curious why you didn't dry cut your layers? Ot would have been good to see this cut straight.
Thanks Bernadine! We'll keep your feedback in mind for future videos. Cutting on dry hair vs damp hair is a personal stylist preference. Damp hair can most often help with control.
very beautiful!
Thank you John!! ❤️

Thanks for watching! ❤️
Could you do a 90's blunt bob tutorial?
Thanks Laura! We'll pass your feedback on to our team for a future video!
Excellent technique, where are you located
Do you recommend layers for thin, fine hair?
This style can definitely work for fine hair! Sometimes less is more for finer hair types. Thanks for watching Benja! ❤️
What makes this Italian??
Cause she said so
@@sixpackbinky lol😂
Think Sophia Loren.
Hi Mark! The layering and texturizing is what makes this Italian bob different than a French bob. Thanks for watching! ❤️
😂
Amazingly beautiful 😍
Im trying to grow my very short pixie into a long pixie, then a bob wish me luch❤.
You'll get there soon! Thanks for watching Cleocatra! ❤️

How to cut a lob style, with curl.
Thanks Sharon! We'll keep this in mind for future videos!
I’m a licensed professional, I notice a lot of hairstylist, don’t shampoo the scalp, why is that?
To make the sebum goes on the length of hair
Laziness

@@cassiyoung-paxton4124 I live in NJ. Can you recommend a stylist! I need this cut! I've not had any luck finding anyone that 'knows'

Why it is not called French Bob ?!
The layering and texturizing is what makes this Italian bob different than a French bob. Thanks for watching Kalima! ❤

Tattoos not a good look at all.
A person has to search for someone who DOESN’T have tattoos anymore. I don’t have any, but I think the majority of people have them now.

It didn't look any different 🤷♀️
It didn't to me either
A couple of layers added
For that just got out of bed look 😂
Totally agree 😂
Totally agree with you. Same style, just a few new layers to give it lift.
No big deal
Not much layering
Dependent on styling products to create volume....just a basic one length cut
