The ion engine (atleast in SFS) has a thrust of 1.5 t. So 50 ion engines will have a thrust of 75 t while a single valiant engine will have a thrust of 40 t. I simply can't understand what happened with the video.

So 1,5 tons of TOTAL thrust, and the ION weights 0,5 ton, it only leaves 1 ton of thrust. Is not a reliable engine in terms of lifting off, it's, as you should know, a engine designed for long space travel in small Spacecrafts. That's what happens in the video.
While this is a 40 tons thrust versus 75 tons, the weight of all the ion engines will be enough to slow it down to somewhere between 20 or 35 to say the least.
If I may ask but as a sfs player were always finding ways to improve our rockets but how did you get the second engine and did you make it because I have Been finding ways to make my rockets better and last longer and if you built it can I see the how you made them?
there’s a method called part clipping where you merge two pieces together than select them both by either tapping both or highlighting them and just moving them anywhere and then the parts will fuse together

Well actually ion engines are for propulsuion in space vacuum, because to gain inertion in vacuum you can "throw" something and you will start moving, so ion engines "trow" ions (basically energized particles atoms) and therefore gain inertion, ion engine won't work in planets atmosphere, only in vacuum.
Basically, when you place a part on top of another part, the part behind will go see-through. To clip them together, you have to select (tap it so it has a white/blue outline) the part that will be behind the new part and select the new part once it’s in position. Once both parts are selected and in position, you just need to move them together (this will happen automatically because they are selected) and they will be “clipped” together. If you need extra help there’s videos on CZcams. You can’t do this for engines if you don’t have cheats because they will do heat damage to each other and destroy themselves, but if you do have cheats turn off heat damage/turn on part clipping in the settings. You can do other parts that aren’t engines without worry though.
