Thank you very much doctor for making us aware of this issue. May you have a healthier life !
I remember my son suddenly cannot stand and walk but can kick and sit. He had fever before that. It lasted for 3 days, of unable to walk and stand. I was so worried. When we came to see a doctor, he suddenly able to walk and even run. Doctor said it was a hip infection. It was a terrifying experience.

Thanku for posting this information doctor... This like a awareness to concentrate vit d n break in my child's physical activity.. Thanku doctor... Have a great day sir
Not all leg pain in children is growing pains!!! I was diagnosed with “growing pains” because I had severe leg aching every day for 20 years until I moved out. I now think I had Lyme infections. I reached a grand height of 4’ 10”, and now I’m 4’ 9”. These pains went away until I was 63, had surgery and got pseudomonas aeriginosa from the hospital. They diagnosed it 8 weeks later, and the leg aching came back. I’m now 89, and have to take pain meds to relieve this. I also have RLS. It’s horrible, and I can’t figure out what made this come back.
So sorry for you 🙏🏼 and thanks for posting this information also
Very good useful information Dr gaaru,it is useful for every parent..
Must watch content..
Thank you👍
I had terrible leg pains growing up. the only thing I could do to help was to keep my legs as still as possible, The slightest twich would cause my legs to to go back] to severe aching. My mom would want to rub my legs but I would not let her. I would be lying on the couch and someone would get up and it would move the cushion on the couch and my legs would go back to hurting more. maybe this info can help a child.
An excellent video with valuable content for every one...Thank you sir ..God bless you..

Mostly yes ..but take your Paediatrician opinion
Hello doctor , my lil sis is 12 years old and she have pain in her legs and thighs from past 1 week and pain increases while doing any physical activity and have difficulty in walking as well.
Same problem my son
My daughter both legs are pain and she got fever.
So called growing pains won't cause fever...kindly consult a Paediatrician
This could be viral fever
My son 13 is having this problem but it happens when he catches the flue. It's been 3yrs now and when it happens he can't walk, he says it feels like he has been hit by a bat. I've taken him to doctors but they can't tell what it is or give us medication. Do you have any advice Dr? This is very heartbreaking when it happens and we don't sleep for 2 full days
Have you tried massaging or hot fomentation at that time ? Or paracetamol? How is the responce ?
And does the pain come down by next morning ?
@@doctorkiddoz thank you very much for your response. Yes I've tried massaging and he even got an injection for the pain but it still persists and yes even the next day during the day😔
@@tebogot4835 then this may not be related to growing pains...kindly consider second opinion from another paediatrician or go with a Rheumatologist opinion
I get the same pain everyday so for temporary relief I use painkillers like paracetamol etc
9year old son he is not walking last 2 days
Please visit your Paediatrician

Why knees pain cause at the age of 15😢
Me at 14
Massage, stretch, heat. Possibly vitamin d and breathing techniques. Nothing new.
Yes sir
Until we find the exact reason it's only symptomatic treatment
And if I get to know any updated newer treatments will definitely do another video on this topic to share with everyone👍
