Thank you for sharing your art work. I had to stop working with alcohol inks due to their toxicity. This approach reminds me of the way the inks are blending..... That said, I am new to watercolors and learning from you. What you are doing is simply mindblowing. Please share the entire artwork at the end of the video for just a few seconds longer so that we can better see it. Blessings!
I loooove alcohol inks, and I agree, it's not pleasant to work with unfortunately. Maybe this is why I'm drawn to this kind of application?
Hello Vera….have just read your comment ( it is now April 22 ) and would like to offer a suggestion to you for being able to see the finished artwork at the end for a longer period of time.
I don’t know if you are watching on an I-pad or computer screen……but if it is an I-pad, then you can touch the screen to pause the video. It may go darker…..so just touch the screen again and it will come back brighter again.
You could then take a screen shot to be able to keep it in your Photo Library so that you could look at it anytime. 🤗🤗
I love this! It is my inspiration for my art making session tomorrow. I don't know about anyone else here, but I would really like to see your doodling in real time rather than sped up. The doodling is the most relaxing part of the process and I would like to savor it. Thank you for these videos and the inspiration. Your work is beautiful.
Aww, thank you! I don't know how many people want to sit through watching me twirl my pens, contemplating my next moves and so on. To be honest, there is a lot of dead time in between moves and pens not working, haha. I know editing makes it look seamless, but in all honesty, I think it would be boring to watch me doodle in real time? I don't know. Maybe I should try it once and do a live stream..... 🤔 I might put a poll on my community page to see who would be interested. Thank you for your input! You have me thinking and that's always a good thing 😊
@@_bettina_fernandez_ I understand what you're saying and why you would feel that way, and we as viewers don't know how much time it actually takes in real time. I just know that the doodling is my favorite part. Interesting to see what happens if you ask the community for input. Maybe you could do some sped up and some in real time?
@@TeriEllen I actually just put up a poll on my community page to see what percentage would watch a live video. So we'll see. I can certainly include some regular speed footage, mixed in with time lapse. I will take note of it 😊

I have a lot of acrylic paints that I bought when I tried acrylic pours Turned out acrylic pours weren’t for me. Not enough of me getting in there to do hand art. I found it rushed and boring. That’s me. My sister loves it and has done some quite nice artwork. Then I got into watercolor again ( I did it years ago)
Your art is always refreshing to watch and I enjoy the way all your art is different each time. Yes you do incorporate things from other paintings you’ve done but each one is different. I love your works
I tried it in the beginning as well, and like you it's not for me. I've always loved watercolor and by accident I tried this technique and so now I'm happy I can use up all that acrylic paint, haha! No, I paint with acrylic as well, just not as much. Thanks for your comment! 💕❤️

I bought a 5 pack of the needle applicators on Temu for $3 or so. Perhaps mix your paint & water in another container with a wide mouth, then pour the mixture into the needle bottle using a medicine 💉 needleless syringe or small funnel.

This one is spectacular! How long did the embellishment stage take do you think? I see what you meant by cutting it down to a manageable size. If it was the original size you could be there all week. I like the idea of the thinned acrylic because it doesn’t fade as it dries like watercolour. Beautiful.

I can’t see myself fiddling with diluting the acrylic paint into those bottles even tho’ I think that putting in a couple of small stainless steel ball bearings would definitely benefit the mixing process. I have been reading up about it, and apparently the ball bearings really are a must as they make such a huge difference for mixing the paint.

Hi! Oof, it's hard to say exactly, but I would guess about an hour or so? There is a lot of down time, pen twirling, staring at it in between so it's hard to tell, haha! So glad you like it, as it is one of my favorites as well! 💕❤️
If you squeeze a little air out of the bottle before putting your bead of paint on the opening and then let the air in again, would it pull the paint into the bottle better?

I love it! So pretty! I use alcohol inks it reminds me of the way they blend and look misty. Your doodles are amazing! Did it take a long time to complete?
It's very similar, but it obviously takes so much longer to dry. I love alcohol inks as well. Thank you so much, all in all, it usually takes me a couple of hours to complete, not including the drying process, just because there is a lot of thinking and twirling of the pens involved 😉.
