I don't really have a medium or large high rmp more modern stihl saw all the ones i have are older and lower rpm i believe about eighteen but older, i saw a 880 and it will be up for auction but i am sure out of my reach, talking about a grand i bet maybe eight bills? there expensive as heck
Seems like a great saw. I got the clone of it the Neotec ns872. I'd love to have one of the actual Stihl ms380-ms382 series of saws, but I can't afford one even if they were sold here in the USA. How do you like them in comparison to the Stihl ms361? I one had the Ms361 and I loved that saw. The ms361 and the Stihl Ms200t were my favorite saws to use and I regret letting go of them.
Haven’t owned a 361 I’ve fixed and used one was unreal saw!! I will be getting a clone 361 very soon… I did own an 034 sold it wish I didn’t it was a red lever
@@brendosghanasenditsaws well the ns872/ms380 was too hard on me, especially with it not running right. I'm disabled so I wasn't expecting to be able to run it. I was just hoping I could run it for a few cuts for my enjoyment. I also think the oil pump isn't working. So I gave it to one of my very best friends(like family) as a late birthday present. I still have my ms200t clone, the G111 coming and I'm sure I can run that saw. Of course if it's not running right it will take me some time to get it so I can run it. I admit I can't run any saw alot. But I'd be happy with a few cuts now and then. I'm sure I could run a few cuts now and then with a Stihl ms261 or even a Ms361 saw that is tuned right. But 72cc saws are just too much even running right for me to pull start and then cut I think. But it doesn't matter too much since I'm just wanting them for my enjoyment of running a saw, even just a little bit. ☺️ Knowing how and being able are two completely different things. I hope you get your Ms361 even if it is a clone. My Ms361 cut great. It was years ago but it seems like yesterday to me. I ran it with a 25 inch bar with a full chisel skip chain. At the time I was using it half the time looking for fat wood. I found alot of fat wood too, by the way. Lol Anyway I guess my saw days are mostly over. I wish I could have bought a real Stihl Ms200t for my last saw. But they are outrageously priced these days. So I'm really hoping I can get my G111 cutting like the real ms200t eventually. The ms200t was my all time favorite saw and the Ms361 was a close second. I think I will be kicking myself in the ass for the rest of my life for having to let my saws go. Maybe I could have saved myself from homelessness without letting those saws go. I will never know now. Anyway great videos. I might not be able to run a pro saw other than a top handle saw again. But that doesn't stop my appreciation for great saws. 😁 Keep running those beasts brother, and don't forget to enjoy doing it. 😎👍
@@williamgrissom1995 thanks buddy! Never stop brother✊❤️ I had an 020t couple yrs ago was slightly scored but still ran I was going to rebuild it but didn’t end up getting too it and sold it🤦♂️ I am getting the 111 also soon so we can see how it goes and what it will take to make em strong.
