Nice reaction, but had to chuckle at your “they have a lot of potential” comment. We all thought they had a lot of potential when they were on the Sing Off in 2011. I’m thinking they’ve definitely proven themselves at this point in their careers and far surpassed what anyone thought an A Capella group could achieve. They’re at the top of their game and have earned every bit of success that comes their way.
They have lots of potential… I bet they may even win 3 Grammys by 2024, and be nominated for 2 more. 😂

I loved the Seal version. When Mitch started it out it sounded similar but once Scott did that jump scare the song just got so much more energetic. Their latest Christmas album might be my favorite. So many good songs with them at their most skillful.

I think the mark of a truly great group is they can cover a song you already love and make you love it even more. Bad covers leave me feeling grossed out. PTX covers are…. upgrades, somehow.

They have been nominated for another Grammy for this year for their album "Holidays Around the World". They were also nominated 2 years ago for their album "Evergreen". So....2 Grammys and 2 more nominations.
They have won 3 Grammys and nominated for 3 more, including one for their Christmas album.
They have reached the top of the heap in acapella groups, and have surpassed all others. Try “O Holy Night” for further proof. They are next level!
