girl the amount of effort you put into this video 😩like you actually spent days filming it just so we could have clear visuals on the before and after looks of the curls, thank you!
Aww thank you so much for acknowledging all the work I put into this video Ramsha! I just want to create the most helpful content that I can 😊
Girl, you have the most beautiful, full, luscious, soft looking hair I've ever seen 😍
this was such a great video !! I have pretty loose waves and the definition technique totally held to add some extra volume and curl for today ! you're a life saver
omg I just found this video and your channel! I had been struggling with refreshing my curls because I did not want to add more product if I didn't need to and your videos have saved my hair! thank you so much! Subscribed!
Thank you! My daughter has curls. And as a wavy straight hair girl I get so lost with how to help her. These videos are so great and helpful! Thank you!
Beautiful 💚 thanks for the great advice
Super, super helpful!! Thank you so much!!
Have you found a way to keep curls when you refresh (or on wash day) that are at the top of your head? As my hair gets longer and heavier (a few inches shorter than yours) my hair looks straight at the top and only starts to keep curls below my ears.
There's a few things you can try.. 1. you can flip your hair from size to side and scrunch all the way up to your root. 2. You could try refreshing upside down or 3. You could diffuse after you refresh. ☺️
I’m glad I finally found some one with the exact hair as mine ! 😊
Such a great video!!! Thanks sooo much for all the great tips!!! Stay blessed 💕
Great job 👏. #Seriously you gave me different ideas!
Such a great helpful video. Answers the questions of knowing what to do when…. Others skip over them that leaves you with more questions, yours are just so helpful you feel like you know what to do. Please keep making these helpful videos 👍
Youre so pretty with those curls ❤
I’m gonna do this tomorrow tay, thankyou for this video! refreshing has always been tough for me 😭
My hair is basically a frizzier, redhead version of yours, and this is SO helpful!!!!!!!! Thank you so much!
I use mousse. Would you recommend mixing that with water for the refresher or what do you think about using an oil instead?
for 7:00 (moisture & definition) is it possible to do this with mousse ? because that’s the only product that i have😭
Very helpful video! I feel like my hair just looks like a frizzy mess. But I’m trying.
I’m still in the early stages of embracing my curls, only about 4 or so months in. Love the detail and simplicity in your videos, but this one sort of scared me to be honest - how do I know what my hair needs on refresh days? So far if just been spraying it all with water and scrunching a tiny bit more gel in and letting it air dry… I’ve also been growing my hair out from a super short pixie so it is a little above my shoulders.
Hi Cheryl! I really appreciate your honesty. I just base it off of how my hair feels. For example, if it feels dry, but I am happy with how it looks, I will just add a little bit of leave in to add that moisture. If it feels good, but my curls are looking stretched out or frizzy, I will just add gel. If water and gel is working for you and you are happy with your results, then my advice is to stick with it! (:
When I finger detangle or barely touch my hair, then I get loose hairs wrapped around my fingers EV-ER-Y TIME! So, annoying and as a blonde my hair is kinda invisible (doesn’t help that I’m over 40 and need reading glasses 😂) so I haveta squint to find and then shake off the dumb shed hairs.
What is your advice when a part of the hair (bang) is very damaged and dry and does not hold volume like the remaining of the hair? Is there any special routine to apply to bang so that it takes moisture and volume like the remaining of the hair?
I would recommend applying more product to that area. Really focus on moisture on that area and then more gel will be required to create more hold if it isn't holding it's curl like the rest of your hair. I also recommend trying to finger coil those pieces (like I did in the first refresh in the video). This will train your curls to curl like the rest of your hair and keep them looking good until they can curl like that on their own 😊
I think cutting more layers will take away the heaviness that drags down your curls.
Pineapple???
how beautiful ARE you💘
Yay! Your videos are always practical and helpful and hair is just 🤌🏼 😍 goals!!
Aw thank you so much Emily!! Practical is definitely the goal!! So happy you find my videos helpful!! 💗💗💗
@@curlytay 🥰 I’ve been trying out these techniques for refreshing my hair and it’s so helpful! Especially letting my curls “settle” after pineapple-ing - I had no idea!!
