Sweety, sorry to say but Adrien is definitely a sentimonster. Season 5 basically confirms it. There's no reason to deny it. But I don't think it will change Marinette's feeling for Adrien, so it's not so important.
This episode was amazing. I really liked it. We had more character development on Zoe and I am glad that Zoe's feelings for Marinette gave Marinette the courage to confess to Adrien. This episode had a good plot and I liked it. Unfortunately that scene where Gabriel just says "No" spawning out of nowhere. It to me, just unfortunately suggests that Adrien is a sentimonster, because Gabriel wasn't even outside, he wasn't even talking to Adrien. He just said the words whilst touching the ring, which just forced Adrien to stop the kiss. Besides, he said, I feel strange.. like even he didn't know what to say.. Anyway keep up the good work :)
i adore (pun intended) this episode. i consider it my second favourite, actually! most of what i would say has already been said, so i’ll just put this: Zoé has been a favourite character of mine since her introduction, so i was always disappointed with how little they did with her. and now, what do you know, if not for her, Marinette would still be at “i love MOO!”. so that was very satisfying.
I love this episode. I've actually seen some people apparently unhappy with how this show does lesbian/gay characters. They have said stuff like "oh, it's fine to be gay/lesbian as long as you're a side character and not a main one"
Pro tip for you to cope with Adrien being a senti: Normalize calling creatures created by the power of the Peacock Miraculous sentiBEINGS rather than sentiMONSTERS because no one wants to be called a monster and we don't want Adrien to be a monster because he's a sweet and caring boy. Gabriel is the true monster, enforcing his own ideals onto Adrien through his amok and not allowing him to be happy.
I'm so happy that we got to see LGBTQ representation in this show!!! Its so amazing to see that Zoe really likes Marinette!!! I don't really know what Zoe's sexuality is. I do love Adrien, but I don't mind seeing Zoe and Marinette as a couple as well!!!!

Episode titles this season have misdirected us to some extent - "Elation," for example, left us not so much elated as deflated - however, this one was very aptly named. Zoe's adoration for Marinette has, in a way, been hinted at since her introduction in "Sole Crusher," but here they brought it out into the open. As you said in your response, it's quite a moment for the series, finally acknowledging the LGTBQI matter face on, when for years it has danced around it. This is yet another indication that as the series' original target audience matures, its content and tone matures with them. The most striking thing in this episode is that Zoe parallels Luka in her feelings for Marinette. Such is her love for Marinette that she is willing to let her go, so that she can seek happiness with Adrien. Luka was exactly the same in seasons 3 and 4. It's surely one of the purest forms of love that we can ever hope to witness in this life - admirable, yet painful too. And it's all the more remarkable in this show because Zoe's declaration is the final catalyst causing Marinette to do what fans have been crying at their screens for her to do since the series began: tell Adrien how she feels about him. Notwithstanding Gabriel's intervention (further confirming the Sentimonster theory that doesn't sit well with everyone) it appears that Adrien is ready to reciprocate. So things between our beloved protagonist couple are finally blossoming. The question is: will they have a chance to develop amidst the thickening tangling plot arcs of Gabriel, Natalie and Lila?
Do you not know almost all season 5 episodes are named after the Miraculous' concepts? Elation was for the Tiger Miraculous, which Andre the Ice Cream man used. Maybe you were just joking, tough, as the episode indeed left us deflated. Adoration, in this case, fits both the episode AND the Miraculous concept.

I know that Chloe is a bad person, but I feel like Lila is just using her to get what she wants, and I don't know what it is she wants. Also, I really hated that everyone fully believed that Marinette stole all that stuff without any concrete evidence. Its so great to see that Zoe stood up for her.
