I need that Star Wars rash guard shirt! I love the fast moving lazy river. The key is to hug the sides of the river because the water will propel you forward - it almost feels like hitting a speed boost in a video game. 😂

Chris, I have so much amazing stuff I want to say about this video! First off, you and your friends and family looked like you were having the time of your lives at Volcano Bay!! I myself love waterparks, and I have never been to that one, but it really does look like so much fun! The one thing that I would absolutely want to do is that crazy river! An early HaPpY Mother's Day to MiMi & Amanda. Great to see MiMi having a great time on the cRaZy River (like intracoastal waterway w/ Crush from Finding Nemo) Universal knocked this one out of the ball park! Lovely to see Kim & Liam. Wet-N-Wild was the 1st successful water park. This one ranks WAY up there. I'm dying @ the PuPu Platter! Glad the bands were some of the best "skip the lines" variety. There are some many concepts out there. Wonderful vacation showcasing MORE of what Orlando offers. International Drive has some cool stuff as well.

Bravo to your bravery on that tube slide with Miles. We recently went to an indoor water park with a big slide like that, and I clutched my childrens’ arms like I was afraid they would go flying out of their seats!!
I also loved watching Grandma Mimi, I’m so glad she’s on this trip with you. It’s fun to watch another’s perspective, and I had a big smile as she went zooming through the crazy river!

We are going to Orlando from the UK in August and were unsure about going to a water park as neither my husband or son are particularly comfortable with water, but seeing the amazing day you all had and how excited Mimi was even though she’s not fond of water has helped us to plan a day at Volcano Bay for our holiday 😁 I literally cannot wait as I haven’t been to a water park since 1993! 😍

A few weeks after my cancer surgery, I visited my parents and we decided to go to a casino resort for some fun. My mother, who was 81 at the time, and I spent an afternoon floating on a lazy river and relaxing in a saltwater pool. This video brought back some great memories. Thanks.

I was finishing my Disney days and didn’t feel right I wasn’t doing Epcot.
So I added that on my Volcano Bay day which made it a rush.
I didn’t get to do much at my first time at Volcano Bay. Just the lazy River and the wave pool.

There is a River rapids at Atlantis in the Bahamas that is like that crazy river but you have tubes and it was our favorite ride too! There were massive waves (like a wave pool). You wouldn’t want to get off your tube

Crazy river and cabana.
I’ve never been to a waterpark and I’m in my 40s now. It’s not that I’m scared of water, I love water. I love slides and love everything about it. My issue has always been body image. I am so harsh on myself that I can’t go and enjoy myself. Gained a lot of weight while waiting to have a very big surgery a few years ago. Due to that, I haven’t been able to allow myself to ever go to a waterpark.
My parents didn’t like waterparks so that wasn’t something I was exposed to growing up. My parents loved traveling. We traveled all the time and went on many vacations all over. We’ve been to all kinds of amusement parks and cruises and all kinds of trips. They just hated waterparks so we never went to one.
Now I’m in the process of losing my weight. I’ve now dropped close to 85 pounds and have 20 more to go. This is something I told my husband that I want to do. Right now he’s military and we’re getting moved to a different base again. We are heading to New Mexico. I’m a Louisiana girl so let me tell you that’s gonna be a new experience. We can’t go in the next 8-11 months. However, towards the middle-end of 2023 I am wanting this to be my very first waterpark.

You guys should come to Texas and go to Schlitterbahn - voted North America's #1 waterpark for many many years AND the inventors of the original water coaster! Just promise if you go, you take me too! I been going for 26~ years and love it every time!

Dude, I'm right there with you. I love USO parks and all the Harry Potter stuff. But it's Volcano Bay that gets us to come back (and stay at Cabana Bay). It's by far the best water park I've ever been to, and I've done a lot. If they had a package where we could just stay at Cabana Bay and just do Volcano Bay, I'd buy it in a heartbeat.
And I guess they changed the Moana ride names. That blue turtle slide is the best slide in the park. Soooo fun. But not as much fun as going into the kid area with my Liam and shooting people in the lazy river with water guns! And that's not as much fun as the crazy river. I LOVE THIS PLACE!!!!
