When I was in middle school, my best friend and I found a copy of this in a cafe and spent an afternoon trying to solve it! I'm really sorry to hear that.
I deal with depression, actual crippling depression, that made me isolate myself from almost everyone for 3 years. I just worked, and slept whenever I could the first year. (Thank goodness to my family who saved me from death) Then I became able to sustain a routine. Then exercise. Then I could do the things I liked again. I'm better now.
I hope better days come for you in the near future. I really do. Don't give up.
