Sounds like an excellent graduation song for highschool, because your saying your final goodbye to the place you either so desperately tried to get out of, or the place that brought so many memories.

Every time i hear this song, a nostalgia wave hits me hard. They created a masterpiece. This song has taught, that even in our darkest hours, there is still light, in the saddest days, we still have someone to cheer us up, there is still yet hope to try again and again, never give up on your goals, always look on the bright side, and thank god for giving you this opportunity. What has this song teach you?

It felt like 2 days ago I was 10 years old, still playing with nerf guns in my yard with the boys, watching nicktoons, playing on the PS2 and if my dad let me, playing on his PS3. My little iPod in my pocket with wired earbuds, my clamshell phone used for emergencies, a collection of hot wheels that made car lots blush and an army of plastic green and tan army men that made me a national threat. An N64 that I played when the PS2 games bored me and a PSP for cartrips. Then I realized that was 9 years ago and almost all of the magic and fun in my life is gone. But this song lets me relive it for a bit
Dude, I feel that. The little green men on a dirt bank outside on a warm Maine summer day under an apple tree. Dad calling me to the garage to help. Then going to hang with my friends at the swim spot we all meet at. Now its we all ride quads and make some pretty crude jokes. And people pester the way you are, I miss when no one cared and had fun.
I remember the good times when after school I was picked up by my grandpa. Once my brother and I got to his house, we would go into my brothers room, play with Legos, maybe play some games on the PlayStation like Lego Star Wars and Dragon Ball games, or we would go outside and ride our bikes up and down the long driveway. My grandpa would also sometimes made us sandwiches.
i don’t know how or why, but this song takes me back to my early elementary days, something about this song gives me a feel of nostalgia like nothing else. i think it takes me back to that specific time because the only feeling i really felt was happiness. i had a bunch of friends, no one was really mean to anyone, and i had fun. and on top of that, this song released around that time, and was constantly played at school. maybe that’s why this song gives me a feeling of nostalgia, it reminds me of one of the best time periods of my life.

I find it nice that everyone shares the same sentiment about having nostalgia and reflecting back on your childhood. I share that same feeling and it does make me tear up, but at the same time it makes me know that there will be new fun and memorable experiences as I grow into my 20s. Don't be sad that the past is gone, be happy that it happened and knowing that you'll have unique things in the future that you didn't experience as a teen.
When i hear this, i have these memories from an evening in a small California city, when the sun is setting, and I'm just running through ditches, and around the city with friends. The thing is I wasn't even alive in 1995. Where do these memories even come from?

Sunday, August 29th, 2021. I am a freshman on the last day of summer vacation. Today I went hiking with the boys and we got to a rock ledge area and took a picture together which I will treasure and look back on. After that we went back to the ski lodge and all ate dinner together. It was a great day and summer and it would never be the same without all of them, all of the boys. School is starting again tomorrow and we all let each other know how we enjoyed the summer together. I’m currently holding back tears and listening to this song at 8:30 PM. Enjoy your childhood if your my age, I don’t want to grow up.
May xx, 2022, my last day of high school. I don't want that day to come. I want to continue living the high school life. I want to keep doing stupid shit with my friends. I want to continue finding loop holes in the science project guidelines to make it so ridiculously stupid and irrelevant yet still technically following the rules. I want to continue watching senior pranks unfold, but i now realize I'm the senior. I wish the pandemic never happened because high school feels so much shorter than it should have been. There were so many opportunities I missed. If only i could turn back time and do it again. But alas, it's my last year, and I'm starting college next fall. Sure, everything in high school will not matter anymore, but uni will be a new beginning. Don't be afraid of change, be excited for it.
we will all have to grow up not to suffer, just organize ourselves and try our best, don't worry of how things looking hard passing them will pretty much level you up anyone can do it you can too, don't give up and live this childhood like a child then when you grow up worry about anything else but stay happy
This takes me back when I was 15/16 and the radio blasted this all day long and everything was just fascinating, never thought the album would describe perfectly my teenage days.
Let’s not forget that not only was this song featured in “Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Road Chip”, but at least some of us got to dance to this song in the gym of Tait Elementary school.

It taught me that I took the good old days (my childhood) for granted.
It taught me that I miss my childhood.
People are assholes and use their shit as an advantage for the worst
Life is meant to be enjoyed for as long as possible. Don’t take you childhood for granted
The good old days were I had a carefree life with good memories
My friend chose this one as his goodbye to school. We graduated and now i don't know how to feel with what gonna be now. This song makes me feels confy at least. Maybe i get my way to make everthing safe and sound.
Listen man, everything comes to an and, life goes on as they say.
I might be still in school and I don't even know what I'll do in the future but I'm ready for this, it might be sometimes hard but I'm sure you're gonna get through it. I wish you luck, good times and late Happy new year!

The song after the last day of school:
😢 This song is nostalgic
Yesterday I lost a friend, a brother, he had committed suicide, this song reminds me of him, he would always be there and always go places with you, and always remind you that your day isn’t done yet, I love you Joey, I hope heavens treating you well
You sir, are one fucking cool person.
Sorry man😢
He's with God now in heaven, a much better place, where his great, loving personality is appreciated by all. He sounds like an amazing person, and I'm 10000% sure he's watching over you now, reminding you that the day is always yours. God bless you, and may He rest Joey's kind soul.

@@whathappensinmaine5463 so do I my friend, so do I.
Man this is nostalgia lane facts bro
@@EliteSoldier-zo8gk yes it is. The older you get. The more you miss the simple ways

Already almost a year since this was commented, time flies eh
This takes me back when I was 15/16 and the radio blasted this all day long and everything was just fascinating, never thought the album would describe perfectly my teenage days.
Let’s not forget that not only was this song featured in “Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Road Chip”, but at least some of us got to dance to this song in the gym of Tait Elementary school.
