in Tiberium Sun, Hospitals had a limited amount of "Healing" turns which meant that they could only heal about 4 to 5 infantries before becoming useless.
in RA2 they just removed the limit but kept it the function same.

In RA2, you can build clone vats, capture a hospital, slightly damage your Yuri Prime and then send him on a route with atleast two waypoints before sending him to the hospital. And then cycle the route.
Yuri Prime will circle through hospital (even if he is healthy one!), and at each turn a fresh clone of Yuri Prime will go out of the clone vats.

Mental Omega brought back the RA2 Unit heal system in a form of Soviet Field Bunker, same functionality as RA2 Hospital. Only appeared in Campaign missions.

But there's a benefit for RA2 hospital, if you have clone center, when you heal the injured infantry by going hospital, the clone center will clone another one.

The RA2 hospital follows the original mechanic of Tiberian Sun where the units are manually controlled to get into hospitals and armoury.
