i dont know if you're joking or not, but as you can see, he made sure amanda would pick the box with the banana, the show even emphasised on it by zooming in on him doing that. it is at 1:28. what youre saying is as stupid as 'what if he never went on stage?' or something like that.
He would justt ope' the box find out he didn't have the banana, and ask her to switch boxes! And that would've even been funnier
