I was there last week filming more Runaway videos to add to my channel. The Shives are great friends we have known for over five years. I have over a million views of my Runaway videos and that makes me a happy camper. Have fun and be safe.
One of the best things we have ever bought. We have owned our for 5 years and have explored most of the country documenting it on our youtube channel
My wife and purchased a rangerunner from xyz camping in PA a couple of years ago and got to meet Steve. He and Mike were really great to deal with and are good people. We love the camper and it's simplicity. Great quality.
These trailers are Ultra Fantastic Four the price and it's a good way to start out and find a few really want to camp out.
Just wish they put the "square" fenders on the Rouser so it could be used as a shelf like on the other models.
Wow so their affordable, customizable, and a great option for everything from camping to having extra storage for road trips. I would go over towing something like with load. Unfortunately if people don’t know at highway speeds having a trailer requires different driving styles. But really a great addition to people’s ability to have more storage and options
Yes on all counts Cujo, ultimately we have to change our driving style based on what we're driving for sure
I think 🤔 These campers are awesome 👌 THANKS for sharing
Can anyone identify the silver storage box on the front of the venturist please?
We just order one! Can you maybe ask why they don’t make the cool camp with 2 doors 🚪 anymore? Thank you safe travels
Thank s a million! I'll have to stop by next time I'm in Marion County.
They are made of 3/4" thick composite sheets. No more wood. The roof is a 1 piece fiberglass cap to be leak free. I just ordered an 8X6 Venturist...16 week lead time.. I will be living in my converted truck camper on a Tacoma in the mean time.
What's the weight of the different variety of campers
Great job love to see how they are made. Are they a steal trailer or aluminum? Trying to get an idea of weight
Cool
The suns adventure rig how much
Viral this 😊some day Lord willing I’m gonna Runaway 😊
Good video. I’m definitely getting one of these. One thing I’d say about the video is slow down. Let the man finish his sentence before asking another.
Where's the return video?
Cool im in mims
Where would you hook up the spare tired and what kind of bracket to use?
Thank you, Ramona
They do and it is under the frame back of the rear axle like a truck. The spare tire is an options.
Will the 4X8 Venturist with the roof rack, awning, and road shower, (minus the roof top cargo box) fit in a standard residential garage? It looks like it might be too tall with the options I mentioned.
We own a 6x8 Venturist with the ARB awning and roof rack and we can fit ours in the garage. That being said I’m not sure if the road shower option adds extra height. We love ours and have had it in some pretty remote areas.
I've been camper shopping for several years. Nothing seems to be just right and, I don't want to pay for options, I don't want. I keep coming back to Runaway as my closest match.
I agree, I wouldnt want to pay for options I don't need, want and will not use. Unfortunately, it seems like there will always be something included that you may not use. You just have to find the right fit for you.
@@strangerpalooza Yeah, I just found Road Toad (Camp Inn) tear dtoos and now it's between Runaway and Road toad.
😊
Viral thanks viral
👍👍
They're not completely customizable. I wanted to buy one, but they won't make it for me without the AC. For me, an AC is silly, cause you have to be hooked up to shore power, and I want to boondock in dispersed camping areas.
Would have been a great interview if the host wouldn't interupt every 2 seconds
To go behind a Jeep...........🤓
that's probably what people use the most, however I'm sure you can tow with most vehicles with a hitch
I have the largest camper they make. The Rouser. I live in mine🤪😷🦩
I'm looking at a camper I can live in and after getting an education on the insane prices, these look really appealing. I have a 2008 Tacoma with a fiberglass slide in body. This trailer would be perfect for my rig. I already have a microwave and refrigerator behind the driver and passenger seats, so the trailer would be just for sleeping in and relaxing. Now I'm not so depressed looking at the outrageous pricing. I'll be calling them tomorrow. Do you have a CZcams channel of your experiences?
I so appreciate that this is affordable and doesn't have a galley 'pre-made' and designed with stuff I don't want. I don't want a cooktop...I'd rather use a Coleman I can move away from the camper. I don't need a 'sink', but just need water to put in a tub. THANK HEAVENS for the standard Air conditioner though!
