    Those were great trails. And your viewers get to see how hard the camera women have to work. 😂😂😂😂

    Those dispersed camp sites on the trail section of Sarah’s creek were pretty nice. Nothing beats streamside camping.

    Sarah’s Creek has been my family’s go-to camping area for years. When I used to have Mondays and Tuesdays as my off days, we would often be up there completely alone. We always like the fact that we were just outside of cell service.

    Our stomping grounds ❤ glad to run into you guys!
    The end of earls ford up to last year had some nice camping spots until some people wrecked it for everyone by driving in the river and trashing the place. South Carolina boarders the other side.
    That walking trail is a popular horse trail!
    I’ve crossed the ford before when you could not see the rocks 😂 definitely watch the current! Probably the best water crossing in north Georgia.
    My favorite camp site in all of ga is the top of Sara’s creek on the right. On the creek and you need 4wd to get to! Sarah’s Creek and Earls Ford change in difficulty yearly that hill climb after the second water crossing on Sarah’s Creek used to be the technical spot!
    Walking creek trail is a less known high clearance, 4 x 4 Trail up there too.

    Warwoman is a great place to go to get off pavement but not worry about breaking your vehicle. Love it there.

    Great video. I live just over the NC border in Franklin. These trails are a couple of our regular rides. We just duplicated your stock friendly route around the Daniel Boone last weekend. We stayed at Callies because of your video. I signed up for your patreon while there. Thanks for your awesome content.

    Been hiking,riding on or driving Earl’s Ford and Rabun County for 45 years now. It’s really gained in popularity (especially during and after Covid) and the area has absolutely suffered for it. It’s still supremely beautiful up there even though some people are pretty thoughtless about their trash and treading lightly. I worry that soon they’ll just close Earl’s Ford down as a vehicle crossing at Warwoman Creek. Glad you got to see it. Great video!

    Hey bill and Deb, great video as usual. Just a question, when you go on short runs like that, do you air down? We are new to the airing down thing. We are making a couple trips up to that area later this year and want to make sure we have our ducks in a row. Also, thanks for all that you do for our enjoyment. Have a great day. Steve

    • @CoddiwompleOverland
      @CoddiwompleOverland Před 2 měsíci +1

      Steve, if we were going to do just those 2 trails, we probably wouldn’t have aired down. However, we had already been offroad the day prior and was planning to be the next day so we were aired down. That being said said we had only aired down to 20-25 pounds so if we did get back on the road, we could safely and reliably. Hope this helps

    The continuous high impact camping shown in this video is exactly whats destroying the area. Get out of your Jeep and put a backpack on and discover the real Chattooga Corridor. The natural history of the Brevard Fault and the history of the Cherokee Indians can't be found behind the wheel of a Jeep. Very sad to see the destruction of such a beautiful area.
