10. How to Introduce a New Unit of Inquiry

Every PYP teacher is baffled when he/she has to introduce a new Unit of Inquiry. Teachers have to find creative and interesting ways to catch the attention of the students and lead them to ask questions that will drive the inquiry. In this video, we will share some tips on how to do this!

Thank you so much for sharing ur strategies and ideas. One thing I would like to know is- is it must to have a central idea framed in prior or co- constructed with students to inquire on any concept? Or can it be in other way ,too? .that is after inquiring on concepts can students make relevance of their inquiry and conclude with a central idea , as motivated statement of reflection?
