- Spent the day here in Albuquerque doing some Catfishing in the Rio Grande River. It has been a while since I fished some of my spots on the river, most of them are overgrown with weeds and others are still just as good as they've been!! Hope you enjoy the video! Yo great video just wanted to say: I found one of the spots from a video you did up on the Jemez River a while back and fished it on Friday and caught upwards of 30 fish on panther martins. So much fun. Thanks dude!
Where’s that spot at brother? I usually go behind those trailers up in Jemez but there’s been too much runoff and the current is too strong
@@joeraymaez2667 Right near battleship rock. There's a couple of bridges and some great runs right there. Me and my buddy were catching good size trout almost every cast, we lost count around 25 fish in about 2 hours.

Just a suggestion try going to Silverlake in Cloudcroft and I caught a 12 1/2 pound rainbow trout and a 6 1/2 pound striped bass

Nice video. Some big fish there. I couldn’t tell what kind of bait you said you were using. What works well? I just moved to the area and would love to try to catch some big cats
@dallin7305 thank you brotha I appreciate it. The bait I mainly use for cats is cutbait. Cut up carp or cut up bluegills work best in my opinion 👌

I wanna catch catfish in the river but i haven’t had luck any tips?
Find a place on the river with some log jams and debris piled up or some deep holes along the edges of the bank..... Livers, cut bait, and chicken breast work good for bait
