Actually just about all retina, fingerprint, or really any biometric scan don't work if the part is removed or the person is dead. If I remember correctly it wasn't even on purpose mostly since body parts start changing shape without blood pressure, a pulse, body temp, etc. It's not like people melt when they die but the change is just enough to be rejected
@vexxama it depends on how they were knocked out I believe. If it was physical trama or a chemical reaction it would depend on what changes it has on the subjects physiology.
I’ve always liked how contentious their relationship is. Frank can’t really trust Liberman because he’s very erratic and already wildly paranoid himself, so the start of their relationship it’s tense to say the least lol.
I think this proves that Shane could have gotten Dr. Jenner to open the doors.... I mean in a much less friendly way than "officer friendly" but sill effective...
I was honestly on Shane's side until the attempted rape. I mean he made some good points on leadership and unfortunately not only was he right but it took Rick way too long to realise that he really did need to become this dark and this hard not just for his own survival but to keep the people depending on him alive. Rick just didn't seem to grasp the stuff Shane and co had to endure before he woke up is what jaded them (or at least Shane, who had to be more protective as he was their leader at the time). He woke up fresh and clean and protected, got to walk around a fucking deserted town that Morgan had maintained basically, got the benefit of emptying out the police station's weapon supply and never had to scrounge for anything before he made it to his wife. He basically started the game with cheat codes and looked down on the people that had to grind in Alpha. Shane had to keep everyone alive from D-day and got to watch how the world slowly thinned out, people killing one another and selling each other out to survive whereas Rick woke up, met a decent person who helped him out and then went on to find an entire group of mostly decent people. He was sheltered and had no business being a leader. Especially since he had literally just woken up from a coma.
@@sweeety969 Honestly, although people say that all the time, go back and really think about how things would have gone with Shane. His move wasn't to do the hard thing like people say, it was to do the selfish thing, always; which in that world was the easy thing. He always looked out for #1 (which happened to include Lori and Carl, but no one else) and was even fine with leaving people in the group behind. He wouldn't have done well for the group because there wouldn't even be a group anymore. If you pay attention before Rick kills him, the group was fractured beyond belief, many of the characters wanted out because of the tension Shane caused and Shane did not care enough to repair things had he killed Rick. I would go further and say that the show often goes out of its way to show that Shane's decisions often would have been destructive; however, I don't remember the specific instances well enough to mention them. I also think your characterization of Rick in the first season is flawed. He didn't look down on anybody or do anything to give himself the leadership role. On your next rewatch just think about each of his "leadership decisions" as he makes them. He just does what he thinks is right with or without the others, they just choose to join him for the most part. Its my, obviously subjective, belief that, based on the character we are introduced to, Rick would have made similar if not the same choices had he seen the world fall to shit. Like Dale said (I think it was Dale, its been a few years) Rick has honor. He trapped Merle on the roof, therefore to him, it was his duty to do something about it. Glenn saved his life, therefore to him he needed to do whatever he could to save Glenn (when he was kidnapped). Rick was going to do those things with or without the group because he felt it was right, the group/people just happened to agree. I think its really important to point out that Rick never said, "Hey, I'm the leader" until the end of Season 2. He simply did what he thought was right and the characteristics he demonstrated led the group to follow him. Its something I always try to pick out when I rewatch the show, when did/how did Rick become the leader. From what I've noticed, he kinda just... is a leader. He doesn't take control by force or persuasion, he just does what leaders do and people kind of decide on their own that he is in charge. These are just my thoughts, I really have always found the team Shane stuff silly, especially if you pay attention to his vs. Rick's choices on rewatch, but again, just my opinion. I really just like discussing the show (mainly the first few seasons lol).
