One problem I have with this mod is the textures. Some mobs (Like Hunter One) have amazing textures, but most others are very simple, with some just being one shade of pink all across the model. Other than that, this mod is great and I will be using it!
We have been doing this for a long time. I promise you that the new mob models and textures will pleasantly surprise you (if you take into account the old ones)

Seems as though it's still super early in development, which is normal to have placeholders and unfinished graphics so they have something to test mechanics with

This could make for a really good core mod for a modpack. Imagine being in a run against time to save as many people as possible, stop the world-eating spread, and gear up in a resource-poor apocalyptic world.
It would work better if trap in a big domain orb umbrella glass on a time limits or else it take over everything. If it just open world honestly you can just walk away to remove the challenges
I feel like they should only spawn nears lakes in Tagias, Arctics, and Beaches.

610 is one of my all time favorite scps, so cool to see this take on it

@@Nombrenooriginalno, the original flesh that hates is the zombification of scar tissue causing the scar tissue of infected hosts to grow rapidly and randomly turning some into flesh blobs and others having mutilated features and extra limbs.
The flesh that hates is not coordinated and isn’t like a zombie infection. It just grows and consumes mercilessly and without pattern or reason.
this reminds me of 3 things... Terraria crimson, vita carnis and SCP 610 (No wonder, it's literally based on SCP 610)

Nicely done. Basically parasites mod but doesn't require extreme experience with the game and extremely quick progression to stand a chance. Parasite mod is lowkey the apocalypse but the flesh mod is more of a monster invasion (in lower scales)
They’re both basically the apocalypse but S&R is more a “you’re just fucked, say your prayers” apocalypse while this is a “maybe if we’re lucky a few humans might survive to repopulate” apocalypse
Yeah, feels like a more fair version of Parasite mod. Which fits the lore that they're after all contained invasion (well more like isolation, to prevent further infection)
I clearly see the influence of the srparasites mod, looks cool but i think textures might need some extra work to turn this mobs into something truly gruesome
Imagine this mod, but with both the Sculk Infection, and Fungal Infection at the same time
Add From Another World as the cherry on top and its done
I think it would be cooler if there was a way to fuse all of them somehow
If we are gonna fuse them then why not add scape and run parasites into the mix?
it looks fun, the only change i would make is adding an aquatic mob of some kind, like maybe if the flesh masses are exposed to water, then it will become 2-5 flesh wrigglers, which are like swimming tendrils of flesh, they can even hunt fish, dolphins, turtles, and other aquatic mobs, and when they kill them, they turn that square, the surrounding squares, and all squares of water above it red. so that way you can literally see the infection spreading through the water.

A couple issues I had witth your haandling of the Community:
1. You missed most of your shots when fighting it.
2. When fleeing, you weren't sprint jumping. Kinda hard to truly gauge it's max speed if you yourself aren't at max speed.
I always loved 610 it is one of my top 10.

Infection mods are scary for a game like Minecraft, the problem with one’s like these and similar mods (like the skulk horde) is that the infections are quite noticeable but with mods like from another world the infections are almost impossible to notice

There are a couple gripes I have here.
The difficulty is fine for those who want it, But the mod is awfully loud, And the flesh block spreading needs some sort of counter. I think that Sculk got the balance of spreading perfectly- Only some blocks can be actually replaced, And it can’t go through water. If this mod implemented that system to be closer to sculk, It would be actually perfect.
Exactly, this isn’t like terraria where you can just build a helavator to stop the spread, I’d say that in accordance with the inspiration for this mod, the flesh should only be able to spread through organic compounds such as dirt, grass, logs, etc. so containment is still a challenge but is at least doable
@@fissilepear7805 Then yes- As long as it doesn’t spread in any direction INFINITELY, It’s perfectly fine, But as it stands now, It goes deep, With zero borders. Water and inorganic materials should stop it.
I was mainly saying to keep it surface level because digging 4 layers of not-dirt sounds like hell, And not in a scary or fun way.

Y'know. This and Scape and Run are neat and all, but I wanna see a purely block-based infection mod. That one Biomancy automation mod does something like that.
If I had any modding knowledge at all. . . I imagine it could be done like Starcraft's Creep. You need unique blocks to spread the stuff, and destroying those blocks makes the spread decay. Maybe as a progression mechanic those blocks build up more of the same around themselves to allow farther and faster spread, and destroying chunks of these multi-blocks inhibits spread. So on.

The sufferer reminds me of the Divider necromorph too

Extremely unnerving, a great choice for a Halloween-themed Minecraft server event. The challenge would be to hide it from view in a modpack update so nobody realizes what is going on when they update the pack to play.

This would be cool modified for s challenge pack. Start the world mostly corrupted, and it spreads like terraria corruption. You will have to keep it under control while the flesh creatures become stronger tiers over time, similar to factorio biters.
