For those with issue's you may want to start with the face preset located on the first row, last one on the right. i'm not sure if this will fix it but it may be worth a shot.

This is not a joke just in case somebody misunderstood the comment. The whole game is actually easier when compared to creating your character specially those with OCDs like me and you can't even reedits your character in ng+.

In Dark Souls 2 I can make my character come out looking like Megan Fox, sometimes I put in the disc just so I can rotate by a wall and admire the radiant brilliance of my beautiful creation. Bloodborne? My character comes out looking like Michael Jackson...all DA TIME! Man, if only she could be so grossly incandescent.

She has a huge overbite, but it can be fixed by making the jaw protrusion up to 165, that should help mitigate it. Otherwise, very good.

Though quite old, at 0:20 you will notice there is a tip thing on her forehead
To get rid of this simply go to the first slider on Forehead/Glabella and pull the first silder to the max. You may want to adjust the second slider to 170 too

Old but gold: spent an hour making the perfect character. Immediately covered in the first enemies blood. Halfway through the game, I forgot my character was pale
The greatest thing is that you will never see this face again cuz heros face is covered the whole game.

Good job! A difficult creating tool to use, and rather limited, nonetheless with a few possibilities. I tried to improve the profile appearance, to reduce the "poison head" effect, try these settings: Nose Ridge 40, 145, 29, 210, 255, 105, 55.
Geez that character looks way too good compared to the rest "good looking" character creations i've seen its not even close. Thanks for sharing.

I only changed her build. I made her Very Burly instead of Very Slim. Not only because I like the contrast interesting, but because it's more realistic that a Hunter would have to be physically strong.
Looks beautiful. My females always end up looking kind of odd when I get in the game. They look fine in the creation menu thing, though, lol. But, in game, their cheek bones always seem to be off. Looking too skeleton-y or something.
Would've been nice to come across this about 8 months ago when I got the game and didn't already create different builds, lol. May start up a new one with this, though. Thanks for sharing.
I've always resorted to the "Make a barely altered vanilla female, keep using similar face until decent." otherwise, it'd end up looking like Micolash's inbred cousin. Lol

I regret not watching a tutorial before creating my character and i regret even more getting up to lvl 210 with a whole lot of bloodgems and a just a lot of progress without even asking myself "why i just didnt make a new character:')"
After not having much to do and being "maxed out" i decided to make a new game and start over with this character but didnt feel like doing everything all over again, i had so much done already on my 1st character that just thinking about putting that much effort again was like... no:/ so i stopped playing
4 years later i started seeing Marz playthrough and made me download the game again and im already at Mensis Nightmare making good progress, forgot how addictive it is
For some reason watching her play and just really enjoy and love the game gave me the strenght lol
Excellent guide. I deviated a bit by flattening the lips a little more and adding red lipstick, opted for red hair and sapphire eyes, and when side by side with my old look, it’s night and day.

Gonna be completely honest, I've played this game a few dozen times by now and most of them have been with this face.
Nothing I ever put together looks half as good haha.
I happily copied this appearance for my first ever playthrough (not counting a test run on an alt account). Even after I got the platinum, I still have not found a better female appearance online (or any appearance for that matter). You really did something here. 7 years later and this guide keeps on giving.
If anyone knows any better appearances online, let me know so I can see them.
Bloodborne and Dark Souls are amazing games but I hate the fact that they don't have stock female body types like they have in Saints Row. Just look at the character here. Sure she looks cute. But her body resembles a skinny guy more than a female.

Thank you so much! you gave me a template to work from! kudos to solving the facial color distortion! I was able to use your skin color markers and get within a tolerable shade range for darker skins, within 1-2 shade variance that makes a very slight color seam on the neck but other that and the oddly bright brow ridge everything worked out perfectly!

Spent almost 2 hours yesterday on my character. Still not done lolll. This character creation is EXACTLY the same as in Oblivion, same parameters and everything, and I remember spending hours on character creation in that game too!

Thank god for sculpting, I also took a hella long time creating my character on oblivion and it still didnt look great. Fallout 4s sculpting will be amazing and the next elder scrolls should be even more kickass.

This works wonders with bloodborne's shading, I took this and changed a few things around, and I now feel the greatest urge to buy a ps5 so I can experience the wonder that is demon's souls remake character creator.
Even when this wasn't the look I wanted it was a good base for my adjustments just because it's so natural and nice. Good job.
I don't know why, but my sliders are acting differently. Some of the sliders like mouth expression and lip thickness are acting the same, so now my characters can't have a smile

Awesome shots man,just a tip,you can turn off the HUD in the options menu,that way you won't have the health and stamina bar and all the other things in the way ;-)

Really? Wow. I've replayed your video many times thinking I missed slides. But I'm sure I didn't. I've used all prefaces and my girl doesn't come out nearly as good as yours. She's still pretty but yours seems more detailed.
Dr. Gaming AwEsOmEnEss i heard more people say that and not just in this video, other people's videos too. makes me wonder whether there are differences in certain region/versions of the game. or maybe it has something to do with color/light on the tv or monitor settings? i dont supose when recording on ps4 it records the settings of your tv as well does it? cause i fine tuned color/sharpness/clarity a lot on it.

is Bloodborne has better character creation (especially for female) than Dark souls 3? Most female character creation in DS3 look kinda not good -___-
#Arikyo-kun While both share the same engine and are made by the same studio, Bloodborne has a higher emphasis for quality and polishing. It seems as if they had more time and money, not only to focus on building the engine, but the content of Bloodborne itself is also made on a higher quality standard.
That's the difference between the graphics or rendering quality (if you compare the PC version of DS3) and quality in content, art-style and detail of a game. The PlayStation fanboy in me might be speaking now, but it seems as if, as a publisher, Sony is giving developers much more time and money to make a game as good as possible. That's also the reason why Uncharted 4 looks so great. It's not because the PS4 miraculously has more rendering-power than any other hardware (which would be bullshit), but because of the same factor as above.
