He needed to set up a proper goal post for them if i remember correctly they had no ambition so by payne ratting they had a vendetta to win and get rid of him completely
Love how Payne doesn't even look at Alex when he walks in, he just knows he's sitting at his desk. His military sixth sense is such a great part of this movie.
As much as I’d love to see more from the character(as well any Wayons brother lol) they would ruin it. The only movie franchise that got a new installment over a decade after their classic movie and wasn’t completely ruined was Jumanji n honestly that was only because they changed the whole concept of the movie.

@dandrewtsinnijinnie4504 quick Google seach Until 2000, there was a White Dress uniform, similar in appearance to the U.S. Navy's Dress White uniforms, but worn by officers only (in a manner similar to that of the Dress White uniforms worn in the U.S. Coast Guard). This uniform has since been replaced with the Blue/White Dress uniform for officers and SNCOs. No wonder they change it. The blues are better anyway
Nope. There isn't a single movie out there that doesn't have alot of people that don't like it. I enjoyed this movie but nothing wrong with people who didn't. It's all relative.
The USMC has THE BEST uniforms.

Sad part is they got rid of the dress whites since October 2000 it was an officer only uniform

The Major gave them what they needed. Not what they wanted. The mark of a good leader.
Never seen a white Marine Corps uniform before. I've always seen their dress blues. Thought the only the Navy had dress white uniform
Yeah, I'm pretty sure the USMC doesn't have dress white
Apparently it's the dress uniform used by officers in the marines prior to 2000

Brutial but fair. He tought them how to be honest and honorable while being fare
A classic movie, even as I get older and I watch more and more cleaver and complex films I find myself always enjoying this one.
I need a Remake of this movie. Beat for beat, scene for scene the same, but with an R rating so Major Payne can drop a tactical GD in scenes like this
No more remakes they probably would f*** it up God knows they f***** up enough original movies with remakes...
I feel like in real life, going through time under Payne's commands would have you coming out the other side as an absolute unit
