@@triip6887you still dont understand live settings then. its different from event to event. I have heard Osis multiple times now. To give an extrem example , I saw Dilip at GBB23 and he killed it, it was unbelievable. I saw him at Vokal Total 24 again, same drop, sounded not good, quiet, not impressive, while, other were much better this time. Go to many events, then you will one day understand as well

There are some sounds of Osis that don't come out too strong live (I forgot which sounds, but I was there so ig take my word for it) whereas KI was crazy powerful all the way through.

King Inertia is one of the most enjoyable beatboxers to listen no matter what he does on stage, but he doesn't have a good structure when battling. It always feels like he "thinks too much" when he improvises his rounds. On the other hand, Osis is a flawless battler but he's always quieter than his opponent. It's always easier to vote against Osis because of the crowd's reaction (I didn't say "Easy", I said "Easier")
But I'm not going to talk about the result, lol. I TERRIBLY love both of them.

He was just performing. He wasn't battling. That's why he lost. Not to say he's not amazing because he is. Top 5 for new age beatboxers without a doubt. But again, he did not battle, he performed.

Here's a wild theory: Osis lost because he didn't respect the clock. The timer ran out at about 6:32, but he kept going for almost a full 8 seconds. Is this why the judges were making the faces at 6:41? Am I reading too much into it? Perhaps, but nevertheless it was a fantastic battle.
Highlights:
All of KI's first round. The inward bass tone he hits is insane, and this is undoubtedly one of his best routines.
All of Osis’s first round, particularly the little fill he does with the bass cannon sound at around 2:19, and then the monster drop at 2:43.
KI’s second round starts a little shaky, but then he gets aggressive as hell with that high inward, and I absolutely fuck with the funky falsetto outro beginning around 4:36. It never ceases to amaze me what he can do with just his voice and a few percussive elements.
What can be said about Cash that hasn't already been said? Obviously Osis made some mistakes with the lyrics, and that costs, but it's still one of the grooviest beatbox routines I've ever heard in over a decade of listening to people make cool mouth noises.
Verdict: I feel privileged that I get to witness any of this. Looking forward to next year!

This battle most likely just came down to intertia sounding better live. The alem zvd battle was straight up unfair judging, probably a bias of the judges not liking modern beatboxing. (They probably dislike that the online scene is taking over the stage)

I think Inertia has an advantage in battles that are smaller (only 2 battles compared to 3, as his style can get very stale in a third battle)
There were some sounds of Osis that didn't come out super strong, but I feel like they were more than alright. I would've given it to Osis both live and in Vid, but that's mostly cause I don't enjoy KI's style as much anymore.

Maybe because this is from Germany, judges from Germany find inertia's performance new and of course surprising. For some of us who enjoyed KI's enough, we feel dissatisfied, ofc Osis did a great performance, one's technicality is better than the other, I think their battle was so close.

well deserved win for Inertia,his second round was mental but i cant help but think about how insanely good osis's execution on stage is,he only did like 1 or 2 slip ups while using his insane skillset thats mainly composed of very very difficult combos and sounds that dont really come out live nearly as well as the videos,unfortuantely it looks like he used all his unique tracks for wildcards and maybe didnt have time to make new sets and techniques(or he's just saving for gbb) but man hes so fucking good!

Can't understand the dessision. For me kong seemed a bit out of ideas at the end, while osis hat so many different ideas in the first round and even, the second round got more new ideas than king.

Looks like an unpopular opinion but Inertia clearly won to me. By a margin, thanks to Osis messing up his set. He made a very obvious mistake forgetting his lyrics while involving the crowd.. that’s a mark down for sure.

Osis sounded great! But no one can compare to the King he truly had that the whole way there he truly is a GOAT in a big way especially with some of his sounds I haven't heard any of those sounds in these battles. Truly well deserved win that's for sure!

King is absolutely untouchable in battles he literally is the only beat boxer that started a mosh pit at a beat box battle show back in 2021 still greatest drop at any battle ever! No other can even do that on his level. What he does here sounds completely different than that battle back in 2021. And I said in these battles for this competition even the solo round from him is the best in this. And he did that insane super fast whistle sound in the second turn and that right there destroys Osis im sorry and that’s not an inward bass sound at all. I know there’s other beat boxers now that are GOATS in their own way too that no one has done or can do and King is definitely one of them that’s a fact. I’ve been in the beat box game for many years over 18 in Rahzel days with singing and the beat at the same time the godfather of beat boxing that put it on the map to what it is today. So I know what I’m talking about I’m all about beats and I’m a musician because of it. He’s not overhyped.

I‘m not a hater of Inertia or something like that, I would even say the opposite, I am/was a huge fan as well, but battlewise i think Inertia needs to improve a lot compared to others. Ofc he does not ONLY use the 3 sounds I mentioned before but you have to admit that he is clearly overusing these 3, maybe I‘m wrong but I really can‘t remember any routine of Inertia where he doesn‘t use one of these sounds.
So let‘s for example take the battle against Helium, in my opinion Helium should have won
And here‘s why, the stuff Helium does is WAY more complicated than the stuff Inertia does, he uses literally 4-5 Sounds the whole battle while Helium is working his as of spitting the cleanest technical combos possible and still Inertia wins. Helium even countered him and Inertia did never respond on any of Heliums things, because you and I know he just can‘t do these combos..
Don‘t get me wrong, both of them are crazy good beatboxers but in my opinion it takes way more effort to learn technical combos than learn some bass with spit snare and clicks over it..
And as I said, it‘s just my opinion, maybe I‘m wrong, who knows 🤷🏻♂️

Judges are, unfortunately, voting for hype and not for the best beatboxer, as they ve been doing since a few years ago ( with for example alem)

It was very close. Osis made a mistake and forgot his words. Literally messed up his set. This is why he lost. Inertia also factually murdered it though… people say his style is repetitive but nobody’s talking about the evolution of it and all the new sounds he develops in between championships. Osis also totally kills it with his style. Would’ve been much harder to judge had not one of the contestants botched his set in the middle of hyping the crowd for a drop.

unpopular and unbiased opinion here i personally could see why KI took this one. you can tell the difference in composure from the two, osis wasnt taking it as seriously as KI and KI tries his absolute hardest to stay on flow on time and have no mistakes in his routine. Osis had several in his performances and it paid off with a 2nd place. was still an insane battle regardless and mad props to both of them for crushing this tourny
Intertia made a lot of mistakes too, way more than Osis. What do you mean? I can also see this going to Inertia only because of his first round alone, that's just nuts but Osis' execution was great. I'd personally have voted Osis but i'm not as salty about this one as some of the other battle results.

I prefer the style of Osis over KI but even in this battle I thought KI took this. Judging by the lack of reaction of the crowd during Osis’s rounds, I’m guessing maybe his techniques aren’t coming through the mic that well. Whereas with KI he used lots of bass and vocal technique so of course those will sound better live and I bet that’s mostly why he took the battle. It just felt like KI had more confidence and owned the stage more.
Yeah, live attendees were saying Osis came through a little muddy at times, while KI's clarity was crisp.
I'm thinking it was a Kaji vs Remix situation. Official video made it sound like Remix took it. A different video (captured on a smartphone no less) captured Kaji's MASSIVE sound pressure, and sold the community that it really was a clear win for Kaji.
