I had the pleasure of seeing Christopher perform the 'Pyramid Texts' at Birmingham Rep a few years ago. He is a highly skilled actor. Lysette, of course, is as beautiful as ever.

Just finished all 5 again, i think series 3 is my favourite. Also got to say that Kevin Whateleys finest moment is in Cuba when he breaks down after confessing to the lads about his mission, its a blinder. "I even drank my own doctored drink" or words to that effect.
Chris also played one of the most memorable characters in Sapphire and Steel 'Johnny Jack' - one of the 'Transuranic elements' in the very last episode - helping to trap Sapphire and Steel in a diner prison in space.
Yes I was extremely lucky to av acquired the door. I was chuffed to bits when it was offered to me by the owner. And he's glad it's gone to a good home ,, and to a proper fan of awp. I even mentioned it to Tim Healy and he's pleased that it still exists as it's a proper piece of awp history 😀

Christopher Fairbank was the only one of the 7 who didn't really go onto have a successful acting career unlike the others aprt from poor Gary Holton RIP. Never mind at least he was in AWP. that woman was only in 1 episode lol.!

Chris at £20 is cheap .... Bill Paterson was £25.. still not bad ,, but ray Winston who played Colin in The Fugitive S1, he's showing at summer 2024, he's charging £65 per autograph... im giving that 1 a miss. Bit to proicy for me that

Well that's what these comic con events are all about. The stars have to pay a substantial fee to be there so obviously they need to make cash. It's the opportunity for all the Sci fi geeks to meet the stars,, the venue get paid and the celebs do too. But to be honest £20 is on the cheap side. For example Ray Winston is doing this event in summer , and I'd love to get him , even tho he only played a small part in awp as Colin,, but he is charging £65 per autograph. I'm gonna have to pass on that .
