I found this odd because Amazon Renewed items are typically WAY overpriced, so seeing an Amazon Renewed item way underpriced was a red flag... let me know what you think!

@@jrob0021 had the same problem with my Luigi's mansion 3 switch game, cleaned it with some ipa and a q tip works just like new again. Could be just some finger printing on it.
I did have the fan in my OLED Switch go crazy once, it had been sitting in the dock for a few days, I grabbed it to play hand held and the fan spun up, did a restart and it acted like normal.
You got me when you took the film out of the switch!

I just recently got a totk switch console with everything minus the box, plus the Pokemon Sword Exapnsion Edition all for $200. It was definitely a rare occasion to come across! They barely used it.

I bought my daughter an OLED for Christmas this last year cuz I had lowkey been wanting a switch lol I kept taking it from her and bought myself an OLED as well now we have too. I’m so sad I took so long to jump on the switch train.
I always check for different prices through the sites i use and id say 90% of the time one of them always has it way cheaper.
Yeah Amazon does have some good refurbished tech cuz I just bought a renewed HP tablet 11 and it was in brand new condition and even came in its original packaging.
I've had 5 or 6 switches and bought countless pairs of joycons. I've never encountered drift either. But I definitely had 2 or 3 dualshock 4s that got drift
I bought one of the newer body models from I think 2019? whenever they upgraded the battery life from the OG 2017 model (which I also have)
That crack scared me
I thought that the game card reader in my OG Switch was dying after I saw that error, but I found out that it happens if you press it too far in, it somehow misreads the card and thinks it’s borked. Just push it as gently in as you can, and it will work. But it could be a dead game in this case.
My right joycon keeps disconnecting for a split second when gaming and the lights on it do not work.
It broke really easily considering i barely even used my joycons.

All of our left joy cons go missing
for the fan it's normal, the fan goes crazy when you start the switch it does that on all switches, and since a lot of people dont turn off their switch and put them in sleep mode, they don't hear the fan. turn your switch OFF and then ON to test it.
and YES it does that even after a repaste it's normal
I bought an OG 2017 switch in perfect condition for £150 just before Christmas not sure if the person knew what they was selling

i bought a perfect condition splatoon 3 edition switch oled, only thing is it didn’t come with the ac adapter or the joy con grips/straps. but hey, limited edition splatoon 3 oled console + joy cons + dock is still a steal

so ive learned amazon will sell products that get the outer box damaged/return with missing parts because they often dont even check and then just sell them. im not surpised they have their own wii packaging. ive bought mech keybaords they were listed as there and it was just no outer box range new and i paid half price

I bought one of these from Walmart last year. Got it home, and it was missing the dock. I was so sad. I really wanted to pay retail instead of paying overkill for one.
Wait a brand new console from Walmart was missing the dock? Now that’s a first lol. Can’t say I’m too surprised though, since Nintendo doesn’t seal their boxes
I’ve had my first switch in 2017 but in 2020 it broke, then I got my second one in 2021
I got a Zelda oled switch. But it came in it's box XD. I think people just sent em back in once they realized it didn't come with the game lmfao. I ripped the og box, (still have it) so I can see why it came in a new box. It was a harder box to open without ripping. Although 3 months of use... My joysticks look fantastic. AS well as the zelda pro controller I got. Still looks and works fantastic. Mine also costed me a whopping 384$ +80$ for the controller... For a switch... I barely use... But it was brand new... It looks nice on my shelf.

the ebay oleds come in oem box which holds a higher value. the amazon does not and that is why its still over priced for a loose console.
If a game won't load I put it in at an angle. Works every time
My copy of mario does the exact same thing.
Sometimes you can find good quality on Amazon and sometimes you don't.

@@charliedog907 no in the video he only did the part where it checks where the thing is pointing. You have to press the button when you’re in that option to get the view of exactly where the sensor is when moving the stick.
8:35 can definitely see that the middle switch is a warmer screen than yours and the other Zelda one
I don't really see it tbh. They're always slightly different, but I couldn't notice enough of a difference between any of them to really make a note about it

DONT BLOW AIR ON GAMES OR IN THE SWITCH, use isopropyl alcohol, when you blow air you can make your games or switch rust!

What.. how have you never experienced Joycon drift. Bro. Are you playing on a pro, or do you not play your switch all that much. I've sent mine back 4 times. Now I have larger hands but I'm not rough with them. I don't let anyone else use mine. You are seriously lucky.
I don’t really play games competitively, so that’s probably reason number 1 I’ve never had it. But I mean I’ve been through many many switches on the channel for videos, etc and still never experienced it
@@jrob0021 it's definitely gonna happen, seeing the amount of consoles you ( fix, buy, sell, collect) they sell replacement analogs and nintendo has the return and ( fix or replace ) system now so it's not as horrible as it was when the switch 1st came out.

The oled is such a great console, bought the red and blue one last year haven't had Joycon drift. Botw looks so good compared to the 2017 switch.

Ahem, blowing on cartridge contacts can transfer the humidity from your breath on to the contacts and actually make it AND your console worse. Always use isopropyl 🤓

99% of people are not buying a switch to mod. Especially not from amazon

However if earlier generations are easier to mod then that may explain the price discrepancy compared to the OLED versions, especially since that version came from a third party seller.

What’s going on is the zelda oled isn’t exploitable so nobody except zelda fans and hype beasts care about that oled zelda model.
I mean in reality very few people are buying switches to exploit them. So I don’t think that has anything to do with it.

hey jacob r just a heads up game stop has been around for 40 years now so to give them some cr*p is on you but to me they served this gaming world perfectly the refurbished consoles are not directly from game stop either they are from sellers that they buy them from which is where they clean the inside of them and refurbish the inside of them if needs be but they are not nearly as horrible as dkoldies could be since game stop gives you what you ordered from them or if they do not have what you bought from them digitaly then they will just replace it with a different game that is close to it. plus i visted a neighboring game stop since 2004 for fixing my game discs and even fixing my xbox 360 for mutiple days and they did a grand job
