No sliding - only up and and down, and turning. Time for a major re-examination of my Tai Chi. Thank you.
Thank you. This is so helpful for me. It's priceless. What a gifted teacher. Thank you for making this publicly available.
Best description on a song exercise I have ever seen
Very important teachings of the fundamentals with detailed explanation , Master Mizner ! Thank you very much
Hi, thank you so much for this. I have found it truly useful, and it has become part of my daily life. As said below, a generous gift.

Many thanks. I have been having difficulty with my shoulders and this is already very helpful.
This is a very good video. I started studying this Song state and It helped me more than my teachers! Thank you!
Thank you, Adam. This is a really great exercise!
Such detail in each and every movement. I really found this instructional and useful, especially the common mistakes (guilty of ALL charges your honor!). Standing practice will never be the same after this... Thank you very much for sharing this, it is priceless knowledge! 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
what a generous gift! thank you 😊
True, this is a generous gift for those of us who understand its significance. ;)
Djara you sound a but arrogant to be honest
@@bttr9066 Nothing arrogant about understanding a subject matter you research more than others who don't research whether we are talking about internat martial arts; external martial arts or even plumming!
Thank you for this little gift no matter how long it took to receive. It is obvious that the postal service sent it to the wrong recipient, to that person, use this gentle gift at your peril. Thankyou sifu.
Thank you so much for sharing with us! So detailed easy to understand.
thanks from Russia, it was very instructive! your performance is amasing, every movement is seen clearly through the body from the beginning to the end
I’m so thankful for you, sharing your experience and this strengthening practice! It develops my Wing Chun, escrima and Qi Gong practice so much...I hope to get the chance to meet you in person. Be blessed, stay healthy and enjoy what you’re doing 🙂 greetings from Germany
This has just changed my life for ever
thank you for simplicity and clarity in your teaching words and likewise, expression of quality within the form as you have filmed it. Such a valuable teaching and example!
What a wonderful gift this is for new or old. The structure of Taiji.
Wow! What a detailed, generous lesson!
Thank you and Happy New Year!
Your explanations deepen my practice. You are very clear. Thank you.
Genuine Teaching...Awesome! Thank You!
Sincere thanks for this. I hope to one day train under your lineage.
Thank you! Multiple aspects, multiple views on apparently simple movements :) Great explanations!
Thank you, will be practicing tonight before standing practice, really needed this.
great video! Your stuff looks very good, I'm surprised some people think adam isnt good at what he does, he clearly knows what he's doing.
Excellent exercise, well presented and explained
Thank you very much for sharing this.. I've been practising tai chi for 20 yrs and I feel like your videos are going to take me to another level. Respect.
4 years later--did they take you to another level?
@@rmleider

Mil obrigadas!
dude you are a good teacher. Big ups bro
Thank you Sifu for this extraordinarily well described and amazing exercise. So much wisdom shared. Gratitude.
Merry Xmas Sifu
AMMMMMMMMAAAAAZING !!!! THANKS A LOT !!!!!!!!!! I FINALLY FOUND A MASTER AS PRECISE AS I WOULD LIKE A MASTER TO BE
this is so insightful!
Very knowledgeable and most informative Si-Fu; a true master in the art of Taiji or Tai-Chi, keep up the good work!
Excelente explicación como podría vela en idioma español. No noqueda claro sobre la canción. Muchas gracias
very helpfull.thank you.
Thank you very much Sifu ! From Madagascar
excellent teaching skill , respect 🙏
very very nicely explained .
Very clear explanation
I feel it sensei. Feeeeeeel.
You are certainly a master teacher, and I learned a lot from this, but I sure wish you had worn shorts so that I could see what your knees were doing. Sometimes you remind us of having them 80 to 90% bent. I realized mine were straight and corrected, but had I been able to see your knees the correct stance might have been easier to obtain. Anyway, thank you something refreshing and useful.
thank u master!
Thank you very much
Perfect timing. I was just wondering this week how to work on improving my song ability. thanks
day later: is this movement from one foot to the other in the shape of the top half of a circle the essence of an?
nice video thanks
Thank you, man! Perfect explanation ! Do you have other videos with the other 4 exercises?
Thank you.
totally loving it!
😋😏😇😉😯
exellente pédagogie merci!
thank you very much
thanx a lot. greetz from germany
Muchas gracias
Good teacher
Thank you..
Perfect and beautiful.
Wonderful gift from the ancestors.
Thank you, Sifu! In some way is there rising and falling at the same time? Sinking like hanging a chain (sinking and suspension). Rising, like stacking coins (rooted and rising). And also, at the same time filling and release, like a balloon. As the air goes inward there is an outward expansion and as air goes out an inward release. all of these together in harmony so that , externally there is little or no movement. Thank you as well for your other teachings on you tube.
Super😊
Very nice. Is the standing exercises video mentioned, available on youtube also ?
Thank you
Thank you from France for this valuable information
What a pity that there is no continuation !
The continuation is discovertaiji.com
Well, I like it , and let me call your attention to Soke Yoshimi´s presentation in Italy, one is about moving the body weight is always recommended to be preceeded by sinking or raising the torso. Best regards, Paul,67
Actually that’s my favorite 🤙🏻
We have 261 instructional videos such as this one on DiscoverTaiji.com :)
Bravo!
Great video, how come I just found it. Sifu, where are you teaching right now? s
I love this exercise. Thank you for posting this video. Could you post the other song gong exercises with explanation?
I like your detailed and clear explanation.

Discover Taiji Thank you very much.
@Discover Taiji : What about the posture of the lower back? You keep it tucked in the whole time, or it changes its position while sinking and going up?

Can you explain the breath like when you’re coming up to the side is that an in Hill or XL and when you’re returning back down to the center is that an XL or an inhaler? Thank you for consideration~:Never mind breath exclamation begins at 10:18
Hey adam how do you specifically build the chi?
Jives with a lot of the kua work I was taught early on.
Matthew Stampe
Hello, Is Song Gong the main practice ? Do you also practice Standing Practice?
Thank you for sharing this information.
Thank you for the video! Just one question, you say that sometimes you break taiji rules as it's song gong. The transfer of weight, upwards and downwards instead of side to side, is that taiji or song gong? (around 6:40)
Taiji :)
Thank you for this video. I wonder, do you align your knee over the toes once you're on one side or does your knee go over the toes?
It seem like your are not in zhan zhuang stance (in the intermediate middle position) but a bit upper, is it correct?

Interesting allegory with the lady’s hair.
if exhaling is yang (offensive movement), then the shorter the better?
Dear sifu... While turning on right side when weight is on left leg... is it correct that knee of the left leg goes beyond the toe of the left leg? ...regards
Yes :)
🙏
Is "kwa" the cantonese pronunciation of hip joint since I've heard "gwa" from the mandarin speakers?
It could be dialect. Most of my Taiji teachers were Chinese who spoke Mandarin. They pronounced it as kwa, meaning bridge. So you have them under your armpits too.
eh bon je decouvrir de nouveau martiale quelque je vais apprendre camme ca
Helo sifu sy dari Indonesia mau tanya hembusan napas dari hidung atau mulut terimakasih
