I love how "Charles" face texture is literally the face of "Michael" from the 80's Italian horror movie "Burial Ground", which infamously cast a fully grown man as a child because the producers couldn't hire one due to the violent and sexual nature of the film.
Honestly, details like that make the whole game a fantastic homage to the cheesy low-budget zombie exploitation films of the 70s and 80s. A lot of commenters are saying the game looks really crappy, but if you're familiar with those movies it's a lot easier to see what the developers were going for with this game and in that respect, they succeeded with flying colors.
I couldnt imagine playing this game. If charlie gets scared ill die straight away. The absolute quality of this game is outstanding. I'll have nightmares for years.

I'm used to be very scared of jumpscares but after I watch charlie playing horror games for almost 2 years it genuinely helps me. I'm not as scared as I used to and that is massive to me because being scared is really tiring. I know that this comment sounds so fake like it was written by a bot but I'm actually very thankful. Yup, in fact the plot is directly ripped from City. The priest hanging himself and cracking open the gates of hell is the exact same plot as City lol. The eye ripping bit is taken from Zombi 2, and there's plenty of other references sprinkled in as well. Enjoyable, nasty films them all, especially City. Easily one of the most violent and disgusting films ever produced.
