I was never a big Jackson fan growing up, i just sorta accepted he was there as a major part of the popular culture and i bopped along to the big hits when they on radio or whatever but i was never hugely into the whole deal, but this past year as i've learnt more about the truth behind the false allegations and seen what a great guy he really was i've watched some more of his performances and i agree he really was something special and it's a damn shame his health was so destroyed by the stress of his conditions (the vitiligo, lupus etc) and people believing vile stuff that went against everything he stood for. And yeah I watched this performance here with you and it's damn good. I actually came to your channel after being recommended it because I love Queen and your reactions to Freddie Mercury and I'm glad. Honestly when I was younger and there was no social media or anything and it was really hard to get an insight into Michael's life, he was like a mythical creature, not human. He was this uber rich, uber mysterious, insanely talented man who ran from cars into hotels, got mobbed at airports and went jogging with the military. He wasn't just a pop star, he was the most powerful force on earth, so it seemed. There will never be a star with that kind of magnetism ever again I don't think.

Because he was underwent mental trauma from the allegations, AND Physical trauma due to the burn on his scalp. He honestly was suffering during the Bad tour as well!!! I am an amateur triathlete and when things are going bad in my personal life i PHYSICALLY get stuck. Muscles are always tight, i feel tired all the time and i get injured over and over. It's not possible to perform or do things that make you happy as those tensions will always be in the back of your head haunting you 24/7. I was very lucky to be at his last-tour-opening concert in Prague, September 7th, 1996. I also saw him during his arrival to the hotel on September 3th. He was mega nice to everybody. He also visited a couple hospitals etc. Among other things, he spent half an hour playing with a tiny flywheel toy car with a small boy in one of the hospitals - in the presence of the boy's mother...

MJ is ETERNAL. I love his music and didn’t grow up with his era. My kids dance to his music. And fun fact. I live 5 mins away from the thriller recorded area. Took my son and took pictures.
Now you. Thank you for giving your intake on mj. You always smile. Love that

Why of my top 5 songs of all time. Plus interesting point you made about his body. I think what made him such a great entertainer was that he could isolate his voice and different parts of his body on stage.

Yeah but most of the vocals you hear are dubbed from past recordings, not live vocals. And the really rare live vocals such as WBSS, human nature, ICSLY etc, they are mixed from different rehearsals and post produced, so they’re technically not live.

Blessed to have seen Michael perform in 1997 at Aloha Stadium. He played 2 nights here in Hawaii. The 1st night my husband & I attended & we were beyond...gosh I really have no words except to say we literally lost it. Michael opened up with "Scream" & that's exactly what we did the whole entire night!! We took our son who was 8 years old at the time to the 2nd show. We enjoyed watching him enjoy MJ. Priceless.

  • @handeyecoordinationskills

For me, Michael was the greatest mover, entertainer, singer, dancer and performer of all time , went to see him in cork in 1988. I get a wonderful feeling listening to him the same way I feel when I pray the rosary to our lady, it's am indescribable feeling that only comes from deep within

Have always adored Micheal. My cousin and I wore out the Thriller album when we were in kindergarten, and later I came to really like Janet Jackson too. Can you do some when he was with the Jackson 5? ABC is probably one of the biggest hits they had, and he was so cute!
