Really like the format y'all used to review the NU Hammer. I've never thrown hammer (or urethane). I've always gravitated towards storm/roto gear. Would be nice to give the NU Hammer a try!

I’m a lefty and want this ball. Can’t wait for its release. I’m a low rev (200 rpm) and about 15 mph speed finesse bowler. I’m currently using a radical Katana assault and still use a “world of champions” ultimate weapon urethane ball and it still hits. Loving the look of this Nu Blue Hammer.

This ball looks great. I like the idea of a ball that has the same smooth shape as a purple hammer, but no carry down side effects!
We agree it definitely seems to have less carry down and a very similar shape.

Great reviews. Been looking at the NU as I don’t have urethane in my arsenal at the moment and think this can be a versatile ball for me on different conditions.
Definitely has a spot in most bowlers bags especially if you bowl in various patterns.

The low flare was my favorite ball I was pissed when someone stole it from me. The only ball I shot 299 and 295 with. We don’t talk about the 295 though 😂😂. Great review!
I totally agree with some of the comments. This is such a great format for a ball review. It also goes to show that there are a lot of really talented bowlers out there. Great review, great bowling.

Another great ball review. I enjoy seeing a lefty winning the show as I'm a lefty myself. Will probably be a great ball on some sport shot and modified house shots
We agree. It’s ok on house shot but will really shine on tougher patterns when consistent heavy roll are at a premium

Is the Hammer Not Urethane good for long heavy oil pattern?
This is probably not the best option for that situation. It is not a super strong ball or designed to really cut through oil. Not going to say that the right layout for some bowlers wouldn't work but it isn't likely the first recommendation.

Is this going to be useful on house shots or just for more difficult oil patterns?
Depending on drilling and how you play the lanes it can be great for house shots. It’s smooth rolling and more of an arcing reaction vs a big reactive back end. Best to talk with your ball driller on it to match with your style but it can definitely be effective on house shots
Does anyone in the crew throw 14lbs?
I'll check and see for you. Most are in a 15 which is pretty standard but luckily today's technology lets lighter weights still maintain decent carry.
Looks like another great ball for lefties.
Works well for righties also but when you roll it smooth and consistently like Derek it's definitely a great piece.
Why does everybody compare this to a urethane when it is not in a urethane
Yeah, we definitely hear ya. The main reason is because all of the marketing for the bowling ball and its intended use is to be similar to urethane. Most people are not putting this bowling ball in their bag to fill the same spot as pure reactive, resin performance bowling balls.
