- Back in 2008 SEGA Europe commissioned me to create the official theme of Summer of Sonic, based on the song "His World" from Sonic 2006 (which I'd also done some engineering and arrangement for). Ever since then (even still now) I've had messages asking for a full-length version. Now, 15(!!!) years later I've finally gotten around to it!! 😍 I hope it was worth the wait!! // Bxox

I go back and forth on what my favorite version of His World is, but your version, Blue World Prelude, always was one of the top ones. The original one you did always felt too short though, so this is definitely much better in my opinion. Sounds beautiful, I'll add, Bentley!

NGL, this has always been one of the weaker Sonic themes in my mind (DEFINITELY not because of the game its associated with. 😬) This is an actually competent version of this song and honestly what it should have been from the beginning.
I've always found that Bentley's version of the song is the only one I tolerate with lyrics. The others I just listen to as instrumentals because they're better off without the lyrics.
