Tom - 2023 Urban Hero Winner - Volunteer Award

After his housemate gave him a business card for one of The Message's prisons teams, Tom started volunteering with us. From leading worship in prison to now running kids' groups for our Community Grocery members, Tom is passionate about serving people in the community and helping them find Jesus.
People say of Tom, 'He's made me see life in a whole new perspective, showing me there is light at the end of the tunnel. He introduced me to Jesus and to church and I'm not looking back', and 'His faith and his trust in God is fantastic. He's an inspiration to the community.'
