Except the outlines are visible around the members due to green screen which makes the overall videoclip left without proper care. That's kind of ridiculous for a band being among the most successful ones for over two decades.

You cant listen anymore to those Bands who have every year a new leadsinger or Bassist . Kinda dissapointed From flyleaf and nightwish. They kick out always Their leadsinger. And now when i got used to evanescence and their new Bassist Jen,they kicked her sadly too . Jen did Amazing Background singing in evanescence concerts. I buyed a ticket For within temptation and evanescence Tour but i am not sure anymore 😐.

How could anyone NOT like this song? The guitars are epic! the drums can't fit it any better... and Sharon's voice just...WOW! THEN, throw in the harmony and darker vocals by Annisokay, and you have MAGIC!

For me they keep recording much worse music for several years. The Unforgiving was their peak, and they just keep going down ever since. It is not melodic anymore, it's just noise, without any rhytm. I used to be a big fan before, sadly.

Been a metal head since 1984 and I have placed this song and video at the very top of my all time list of the greatest songs and videos! Sharon is amazing!!!

There are many differences from my early days with WT. But the feeling is still very intact.
For those who don't enjoy the vid, what we see is what WT thinks and feels. Don't care about the effects that have to be yours, feel what WT is trying to show us, that's the true value the band wants to bring to us.
If you can't do that, what is here is not for you. Simple but valuable, better than colorful but empty
I'm a fairly recent fan so I realize I don't have the nostalgia of Within Temptation's style throughout the years, but I love this. From what I've seen of their older music videos they seem like a band constantly experimenting with effects, different sounds, themes, etc, and to me that's awesome. The effects here aren't the greatest and I would've loved more close-ups of Sharon singing but it feels new and fresh and exciting!
Just listen to the Enter Albulm compared to the Heart of Everything and you'll realize just how right you are ^^

This is probably the first time a lead singer has ever been so ignored by a camera, maybe in HISTORY. I want to see that outfit close up, it's freaking brilliant, what I can see of it. In Nightwish"s NEMO, we got lots of Tarja's awesome red jacket. If you are going to do the wardrobe, FLAUNT IT! This video, left us wanting more, A LOT MORE.
They've had to do something different as tours been cancelled few times over? I too would much rather just watch the band perform rather than too many effects and a million n 1 camera cuts..... However I think video was just to promote the concept and full gig won't be as bad that.

Ok, in 00's a lot of bands had videos like Ice Queen, with bad quality, so what? So what? And even in Ice Queen there were no problems with lines of chromakey haha. Ice Queen looks normal for its time, but Shed my skin doesn't look good for ITS time, that's the difference.
The thing is, that those technical problems that are in this video are not difficult to fix, and we can see in Supernova, And we Run, and, yes, Ice Queen, which were made using green screen, the absence of these problems
I think that for people with epilepsy this is pretty dangerous 🤭
The video may not have the best quality of special effects, but with a song that conveys so much emotion and so many feelings I think it can be considered a masterpiece. Congratulations to Whitin Temptation and Annisokay for such good work in such difficult times. May these bands never lose the energy they have because they are the ones that abstract us from the less good moments. THANK YOU FOR EXISTING.
