You can do most of the styles using rubber or elastic bands and then plait it down. Partying is actually the devil.

they look sooo good!!! Please do a video on how you take them down! As someone who has braids in right now, I need to know what you use to take them down. I used coconut oil in the past but I'm on the 30 day detox so I need an alternative.
I spray my hair in water like almost drench it with water and then use a good conditioner with a lot of slip and separate the build up at the root and then detangle

I trick that helps me with the back parting is a video call so borrow some one else phone place on at the back and video call them and mute the call works like magic. People do the same thing with two mirror but the problem with two mirror is you need to know how to place the front one and if you shift your head then the view gets blocked but with phone it's much more easier

For the umbre pieces you could try mixing it with the black hair so that your natural hair doesn't stand out and the black and honey blond hair is through out the whole braid

The regular method looks great but I can’t do that so crochet it is...
I’m so confused. I’ve been watching so many videos on the whole no oils and butters detox, and I experienced the most confusing wash day and protective style installation. I didn’t know if I could use some edge control for the braids, didn’t know about oiling my scalp like you did with the vitamin E oil, didn’t know what shampoo to use, what conditioner, like there’s so much going on and I don’t know what to do. This video was helpful tho, you look great.
