Tunnels of Fire - #17 Skadi - Diggy's Adventure

I enjoy this game; however, even with 34,900 capacity and 5209 in energy hourly, one cannot play very long. I’ve made it to Level 110, cook carefully so as not to use all rocks and lumber, and coal. Currently, I’m investing everything in Candyland and saving, saving, saving. I work the materials mines as well. Any suggestions how to play this game longer than 30-40 minutes? Also, I was shocked that when I hit Tunnels of fire, every click cost after the first room cost 90 plus. Why are they doing this to such a great game? That’s a rhetorical question, I’m sure no one really knows… Kinda disappointed. Also, I sometimes don’t complete a place, rather work it like a maze. Right now, Everything is completed, but I’m trudging along 10 minutes, and if lucky 30 minutes. Thanks for all you do!

This game is probably one of those not meant for long playing times, which isn't a very bad thing considering digital well-being. The food is the thing that will help you play longer when you really want to so you can manage it's consumption accordingly. The tile costs increase significantly with every new region. But they are pretty much consistent through the same region except for few mines like the one you mentioned.
