What is TDX / Tower Defense X?
TDX is a tower defense game that was released on November 21, 2023 and made by John Roblox. All out Tower Warfare! Deploy your towers from the air, land, and sea. Rival against powerful enemies and bosses before they destroy your towers. Tdx currently consists of 5 modes: Easy mode, Intermediate mode, Elite mode, Expert mode, and Endless mode. Nightmare mode will be coming soon. These modes have bosses such as Plague doctor, Predator, Eradicator, Revived plague doctor, Eradicator mk2, Eradicator mk4, Eradicator mk1c, Apex predator, Calamity, nightmare exo santa, SUPER REVIVED TOLIET JOHN MK I9X, and Void. Some exclusive modes such as TDX events also exist too in the game such as the tdx xmas event, tdx april fools event, and the tdx x tower battles event. There are also many towers in the game such as: Cryo Ranger, Commander, Zed (event), Ranger, Shotgunner, Operator, Mine Layer, Sniper, Cryo Blaster, Missile Trooper, Patrol Boat, Farm, Barracks, Grenadier, EDJ, John, Laser Gunner, Toxicnator, Artillery, Armored Factory, Juggernaut, Railgunner, Medic, Slammer, XWM Turret, Golden Ranger, Warship, and Golden Juggernaut. There are 2 tdx gamepasses in the store right now which are the tdx vip gamepass and the tdx 50% speed boost gamepass. There are some TDX codes that are available. TDX all codes can be found either in the tdx wiki or in the tdx discord server. One thing I’d like to add is that us (the player) did exist in the TB timeline and we were promoted from Cadet to Commander as time went on

You forgot one thing the Crystal of the void seems to have another energy instead of the purple corruption so you could say it’s his core so theoretically dr Xenos made the core as it uses the same light beam as the plague and other and she also started the infection but somehow got away with it and became ‘freinds’ but hey that’s just a theory A TDX THEORY

The gda logo in borderlands and western means at the commanders organization is gDA and advisor is commanders son

I think i have an understanding of what is happening, we are quite literally reliving the past with this gamemode when we enter the portal we are sent to the past and do not retain any memory from going into the orb, when we go into the portal we are in tower battles, the reason commander calls us cadet is because this is our first time fighting in this past, this also means canonically dr. Xenon is backstabbing the GDA because her multipliers are here, this isnt the dr xenon we saw in xmas nightmare its her past, a few questions could be “why do we have our towers from present day?” Well thats easily explained by the fact that they went into the portal with us, they were in our loadout afterall “why does commander know about the new towers?” Thats because of game design, john cant just have commander say “use mercenary to counter the zombie waves!” As mercenary isnt in TDX so he is forced to give info on how to counter the enemies with our own units, this could also be because other GDA members have came here before us and used the towers before us.

I deny like half of ypur theory because this is my theory and timeline thing : we get presented as a low tier rank where we fight the 4 modes first, we get promoted and we can do nightmare christmas and endless mode ,we then see appear some black orbs which were summoned by someone probably by the help pf catastrophic and cataclysmic (they are summons of calamity and i imagine they have something to do with) they are like endbringers in tb nightmare void boss fight so they probably didnt (but still possible) sacrificed themselves, the orbs are not time travels thing they actually serve to give enough power to void sp he can spawn in and also spawn stuff,for exemple on dead end valley its a tb map but there is no orb for void to get power, scorched passage is like not on an island but its “stronger” its litterally hell so it might feed on people ,sacrifices or something the tb maps were actually claimed by gda before the orbs came (the orbs came on tb maps because void was more familiar and they couldnt get summoned) but those orbs got placed somewhere by SOMEONE, that someone is dr xenon and TRAITORS in the gda ( probably not but maybe mimics from calamities spawn or something idk), now next things here are probably more false ,in normal tb when commander says dr xenon didnt tell us it was because dr xenon LIED and acted like she didnt know or something , the tb nightmare “her” is probably dr xenon friend because she is important to the calamities appearances (since she can “control” dr xenon with something she cant feel,love,friendship) ,she is important probably because she mind controls or lies to dr xenon for a way to save her or redeem herself as we can see her pretty happy with her companion , its a bit late but i think dr xenon was actually on gdas side and was very good with john and stuff , but she was experimenting then she found the stone of calamity and she could have heard voices or something but the calamities appearances thing from ghost leak binary code are doing this and the leader is calamity ,representing chaos and hell himself maybe companion was somewhere with dr xenon and they were in danger where the companion got abandonned and died but got transformed into calamitys summon the golden symbol might be the right hand man of calamity and void just joined them when he lost to tb towers.
I think why the commander is calling us cadet is cause we used to work for the GDA and we went through the ranks to be a commander

I think commander is a young version of the advisor
Tower battles normal mode is the past
Tower battles nightmare is the future
Void _defeated_ in the past
And somehow return again in the future (tdx x tb nightmare)
Why?
The original void in tb _defeated_ (tdx tb normal mode) in the past and return to his dimension recovering his body and energy, ofc this tdx x tb timeline normal mode is the same as in original tb timeline which means xenon and void know each other for so long
Why tdx x tb nightmare is future?
We have defeated him once in the past just like what i said, and bosses such as eradicators,apex and plague doctor exist in this mode, which means this is present timeline (future)
Especially looking at tb normal mode commander and xenon know each other that means xenon worked for him in the past, but in the present timeline she is not anymore. and when the void returns, she support them with her creations, so void and xenon once again work together to destroy the gda,but they failed again
Remember this tdx x tb is not over it's part 1 of the event
W theory, but one problem is the time period you mentioned. The tower battles x TDX event is in the present. The timeline about Dr xenon working with GDA in the past is true, and if the problem is that if the tower battles x tdx event represents the enemies in the past, there would be a lot of problems because of whether Dr xenon was existing in the past.
Commander specifically said welcome back cadet, saying that we were originally with commander in their army before the GDA was in full effect. The maps represent the present timeline because of commander’s lines, and MANY lines advisor mentions during intermediate and expert.
none of the lines hint toward the tb event being in the present though?

@@honeytea5183”cadet” is enough to tell you that it’s in the past. Advisor refers to us NUMEROUS times as commander, whereas commander and void refer to us as cadet. Welcome back is subjective, he could just be greeting us. Plus, the GDA could’ve existed during TB, or during Void’s siege.
Void also says the GDA will fall, we already spoke to her, meaning that he either brought Dr Xenon to his side by a serious talk or mind-control, making her turn on the GDA and still be against the GDA.
Furthermore, a few months back, art was posted by the TDX team of a void calamity concept. They also have a very striking resemblance with their death animation, and have similar design. Either that, or Calamity is another being, because MrP said something about Void having his own team
@@honeytea5183 fair point. however, only one of those are lines which can be interpreted as the cadet having played tower battles before.
also, "welcome back, *cadet"* as opposed to *commander* which doesn't make sense if you're already the commander especially given that that's a commander saying it. the cadet was also probably not demoted from commander.
also, do keep in mind that in tb normal the commander is surprised that dr. xenon hadn't alerted them of the multiplier variants, and it has already been hinted that dr. xenon used to work under the gda.
the orbs don't really have a clear meaning or purpose.
this event doesn't have to take place during the timeline of actual tb, but could take place between tb and easy mode of tdx, which could explain the present towers and gda logo. not necessarily the present, but not during tb.
Wait, I think that the tb event is after tb (such as gda rising to power) but before tdx as your a cadet. This means that the person who fought in tb may be a cadet in this context. Then once dr xenon started the war with tdx, the event of tdx started.
Also I think the strongest enemies can talk(such as apex preadoter) as they are one of the strongest zombies/enemys out there, also plaige doctor and calamity may not be able to tale as
plaige doctor has a mask, blocking him from talking.
Calamity is void but it seams that he is muffled, or if hes summoned he cannot talk. (as hes more formed than void)
Pretty sure the commander just remembers us as a cadet and that's why he calls us cadet.
Time travel wouldn’t be possible because in tower battles the GDA logos on the maps don’t exist and neither did the multipliers. If you wanted time travel to be possible, then the black orb would most likely be a parallel universe portal. Sorry if this confuses you. Keep up the great work.
Also, I believe after we defeated void in this timeline Dr. Xenon started her own army to try and defeat us and that's what is it today, normal mode, intermediate, elite, expert, and endless.

There is a BIllboard on Borderlands with a code at the bottom right in pigpen cipher,
its very likely it has something to do with tdx lore because they removed a part blocking part of the code in the tdx version of the map.
