Great interview with a great creative mind, Iain Sinclair. Wish to join one of his jaunts...we need him in NYC Manhattan area and Jersey City too!
It's only got so much worse since Iain's prophetic words from 7 years ago. Public spaces disappearing, every available square inch of land built on for high rise 'luxury flats' owned by people who live on the other side of the world.
I’m sure you’re familiar with Jason Roberts’ book, A sense of the world about James Holman, the blind Englishman who walked around the world. I thought of it when Sinclair mentioned walking from Bordeaux to Moscow. I keep having dreams that I walk out my front door and keep walking and never stop. It’s a reoccurring dream. I also loved Wainwright coast to coast, his little manual he published originally that has inspired so many. Here in Vermont we have a road called Route 100 that you can do from the Canadian border straight down to the Massachusetts border. It’s a wonderful walk besides the long trail of course

Anyone know where I can find the book Red Eye by Iain Sinclair in States? it's really hard to find.
