It isn't uncommon though. People come from different countries and build a life and family with someone from America. They also still have their accents as well. Her accent can throw you off a bit but there is something else about her that I don't care for.
Dude I'm from LA. Half the people here are immigrants. My Dad wasn't born American. My best friends mom is French. totally realistic and normal for his Beverly hills mom to be foreign born
Sometimes parents can't work this out their differences, and they move on with their lives because it is for the best interest of the family! This can be difficult for children to accept! Unfortunately, only one parent gets the privilege of custody, and people move on with their lives! They move to a new area code, they change their telephone numbers! A lot of times, divorce decree arrangements are not enforced. This would require court proceedings and out of pocket expenses!
