Great video. It's been clear for some time now how badly coached this crop of players has been under Poch. He has been consistently using players incorrectly and not even attempting to build around the strengths of his most talented and promising players. Players like Caicedo and Enzo are suffering the most in this regard & their price tags only increase the hate as well.

I'm from Ecuador, I've seen Caicedo play every since he was playing in the local league, and all his progress when he moved to Europe. He's a system player and a team player. He's the type of player that will make everybody else play better, but if the system doesn't work, then he struggles. That's why he was a beast at Brighton. If the tactics and system works, he's one of the best players in his position.

Very few players in the world are worth over a 100 million. Mbappe, Harland, maybe Bellingham. That's about it. Chelsea has massively overpaid for their players.

The culture of stats as being the ultimate governing body when it comes to judging how good and bad a player is has completely ruined the game, so many of these kids just look at stats and start running their mouths on players when they got no clue on what actually transpires on the pitch
He's a CDM, his position is the most important for the team. Like how Rodri gels the link from defence to attack for City, Caicedo is like that but better defensively too. Can get better too.

Well you're right but only 50 yeah caicedo is good but he was awful due to poch always task him to single pivot but rn poch giving a solution to completely his deffense which is play an inverted fullback and somehow it work caicedo and cucurela made a double pivot in any situation build up, transition and deffense too so yeah you're right this guy had a potential but poch need a time to found it and max it up

Um no, he's good for at least one big mistake a game and his range of passing is decent at best. He's a good player but over 100 million and he cant hit a 5 yard pass to feet reliably. He also gets caught asleep alot on the edge of the box.
