Oh Kimmy, i would like to start by saying that I love ALL of your videos. But this one was a breath of fresh air.
I have been having a rough week, (and it's only Tuesday), i feel like i have been doing so much running in my life right now, and getting nowhere. Hearing you say you had a few days of dishes in your sink, made me sigh a sigh of relief, hearing about you trying to get into the shower but you keep remembering other things you need to do, and running around in a hoodie and no make up. Girl it brought tears to my eyes, b/c i'm there! I also work full time outside the home, and am a single mom, plus the kiddos are sick.
I'm kinda struggling right now with getting the basics done.
Thank you for getting behind the camera when things aren't perfect and showing us how real life goes.

I've been using the seventh generation laundry detergent powder. It's great! I get it on Amazon for about $12.99 and one box lasts me for 6 months. It's rated a 1 on EWG so it's very gentle on your skin and no harsh chemicals.

Just a hint about detergent. The Kirkland liquid detergent is very good. In my area it comes in scented and unscented. The All that got will do a good job as well, but the Kirkland packs a little more cleaning power.
The chicken soup base that you bought makes amazing soup!! I normally shop at Sam's Club at the membership has already paid for itself. We also get money back at the end if the year. Try using the chuck roast in your pressure cooker. Comes out so tender!! Loved seeing your daughter play volleyball. Have a great week!!

my daughter is 18 on friday and she graduates school on 17th nov. it is scary when your kids grow up so fast. i am in the process of making her birthday cake and getting her party sorted for sat. i am going to costco on fri to get some more stuff for the party. love costco. so glad its here in australia.

I know what you mean " I just want to clean" 😩 But..life..happens, I have a junior, freshman and preschool ( yeah I know..huge gap) and the years are passing way to fast for this momma. Always on the go, but at the end of the day its all worth it. cherish each moment ❤ We live in Los Angeles, we will check if we can buy 1/2 cow, being stocked has the best feeling!! I love your videos. There is fajita seasoning in the grocery store and it's all ready in a small packet, liquidy. You don't add anything, you just put it in the chicken and the bell peppers. Sometimes we use taco seasoning for fajitas and it's delicious. Great video.💞💞💞
I LOVE using ALL! I use it for my son's clothes since he was born as a chemical free Fragrance free wash. I have extra sensitive skin and I've never had a problem with it, one time my fiance washed our load with regular downy, and my skin instantly broke out in hives! So I can really tell the difference! Plus lots of coupons in our local paper for it so I never really spend too much on it.

My fave laundry “detergent” is Mollys Suds. Soooooooo wonderful, my brother suffers from some serious BO, and the Active stuff (can’t remember exactly what it is called) takes every ounce of smell and all his stains out with ease. You can order it online on a couple different sites.

Hi Kimmy, when I make fajitas I put my frozen chicken breasts in the crockpot with cut up veg and seasoning on low all day, when ready to serve just shred with a fork. I do a little buffet with the refried beans, sour cream, and other items for the family to assemble. I also use the tortilla boats for the little ones. 😁❤️👍
I've gotta try cleaning the shower while I'm in there...such a great idea!!! I will be attending my daughters last soccer home game for Sr High on Wednesday...your right it is exciting and a wee bit sad for the Mama's heart all at the same time. I'm feeling all the "parent of a Sr" feels right along with ya!!!!
I bought foca detergent from Walmart for cheap and it takes out blood. It is amazing. I tried tide to take out the blood for comparison and it didn’t work. Try it! I highly recommend it. Have a great day

I have Fridays off and try to clean while my son is in daycare. It never fails though, every time i get started they call me that he's sick. I have yet to get a full day of cleaning in. It's only been a few Fridays that I've had off but geez.

We buy the Ecos brand laundry detergent and we love it - we used tide in the past and honestly i dont even see a difference. That being said - we dont have kids, or stains very often so that might be something to consider!
I know how you feel. This is my sons Senior year, my last kiddo to graduate, bittersweet for sure.
The Ecos laundry detergent from Costco is great! I also love norwex laundry soap, Ecos is my second favourite. Works really well!

That is my favorite pre made salad! I buy them weekly and it makes 4 lunches and I add chicken for some protein, but the dressing/feta/bread stick things are so good. :) I hope you like it too!

Zaycon bacon, is The Best! I too clean the shower, while in the shower. So much easier. And, our children's high school years, do fly by too fast. My son is a senior, this year also. Great memories!

I clean while in the shower too. Random tip- dryer sheets cut through the ring around or tile scum like magic. You’ll wish you’d tried it sooner. ❤️

Do you also gather sweet chestnuts. They go great with Brussels sprouts and Its a fun activity with the kids and they are expensive when store bought (at least in Europe).

I know how you feel my oldest daughters a senior this year and my second daughter will be a senior next year...I have 5 kids 3 girls 2 boys and the time jus passes too fast my oldest is going on 18 next month and my baby just turned 2yrs in suggest this yr.

Hi! LOVE YOUR VIDEOS! A tip...if you have a HE Washer you can purchase blue liquid Dawn dish soap and use 1/4 tsp per laundry load (it is fantastic!!!!) and use vinegar for your rinse cycle...I use 3 blue rubbery balls in the dryer to puff up the clothes and remove static..also have a small sponge in a container of vinegar and squeeze it out and throw it into the dryer ...much cheaper than buyer all those laundry products.

Do you mind me asking a roundabout estimate of how much all that meat costs? It seems like the best idea! I would LOVE to not have to buy meat at the store every week, I feel like it’s my largest grocery expense. Great video! Can totally relate to just go do one more thing, then one more thing turns into 10 more things before showering!
Katlyn's Korner Where I live you can get a whole cow for about 400-600 dollars. It just depends on the price of beef at the moment. And a whole cow is enough to share with someone else, so you split the cost. Well worth it.

I've always thought about doing a stockpile of meat like that but I'm literally so scared that as soon as I buy it all and stock the freezer that we'll have a storm or something that knocks out power for days and I lose it all...yes, I'm THAT "what if" person haha Love the daily craziness though!

Ok the shoes was killing me I have slight ocd and yes it causes issues every single day I have a 2 and 5 year they are amazing little girls but they are little girls and Tom boys to boot so messiness is a natural thing but with the shoe rack I have about 16 pairs laid out on the rack and on the floor and if it’s out place it drives me nuts but with yours does everyone have their own little cubby? If so I think I might be able to handle that.. but if you have any advice on how to let go of my ocd tendencies and enjoy life instead of constantly on the go picking up even if they do play dough I’m up their butts saying don’t mix it don’t drop it don’t do that..... I need to let it go and enjoy them more instead of worrying about cleanup
My son is also a senior and is in marching band. His recognition/last home game is coming up next week and I'll be sorry to see it all be over. And he's my last child!
