I just wanna wait 5 years in real life till the actors feel safe to spill all the tea about the show and Sam Levinson
I would happily watch a documentary about the making of Euphoria if they cast and crew were spilling tea
â@KC yeah... I love her but I think she should have addressed the situation even though Sam is her buddy since apparently her character is the only one that he actually puts effort into (didn't watch the show but that's what i keep hearing). Being a producer is not just about being paid more.
@KC For real. đ€
frr
@KC Maybe because she's not responsible for the writing, has only ever gotten praise from crew members and other actors who have said she made them feel accepted and safe while working, and a producer's role has more to do with financing than the writing of the show itself? Keep in mind that Zendaya didn't become a producer until after the pandemic began. Everyone had to chip in in their own ways.
âonly writes who he relates toâ im confused so he can relate to the biracial lesbian, a trans girl, a latina teen w an abusive bf but a fat girl is where he draws the line?
Yeah, and he can barely write for them đ
But that also shows how poor of a writer he is, if you can only write for a character you can relate to kinda lowkey shows how limited he truly is. A true writer can make any great character whether they can relate to them or not he needs to foh w that bs.
@@melinatedthinka8210 then he should expand on it. Find writers that can relate to it. He got no excuses other than his own ego. Why even made Kat in the first place if he can't continue expanding her character after the first season?
EGGS ZACT LEE
I think Barbie is afraid of getting blacklisted in Hollywood and thatâs why sheâs staying quiet. Megan Fox and Katherine Heigl had their careers ruined for standing up for themselves. Itâs sad.
:(
Itâs shitty that this happens
couldnt agree more.
itâs so sad
Yeah, I don't think she spoke out because there's actually no beef, but because she didn't want to be seen as "difficult" cuz for a female actress it can be a death sentence :/
âWe couldnt think of any storylines for herâ is insanity like??? Thats what writers are FOR!!! And like what an excuse that âhe didnt relate to herâ so with all your life experience and trauma you cant possibly envision anything for a fat girl? Ive gotten real sick of this hack fraud
There was tension behind the scenes and he wrote her out. Thats the real story, but none of them are spilling why they fell out.
didnât like that fat girl anyway literally will not effect the show not even a bit
lol get his ass
She already had a bunch of open storylines from season 1 they could've done
The thing with Kat is not just about relating to her becuz sheâs fat. You can relate to her with how sheâs hard to blend in, being a people pleaser especially with popular ones, having body disorder (if youâre too thin, too tall, too short, you can still relate to her) and how she hardly has confidence back then. For a show that got recognized by Emmy, itâs extremely disappointing that they donât know how to see their own character.
I am so scared of men like Sam being in directorial/solo-writer roles for huge shows like thisâŠ. too much power over these female actors imo.
we need a writers ROOM
he's weird asf
Right?! Between what you said and the time jump writing strategy, it reminds me so much of One Tree Hill that I wouldn't be surprised if some creepy behaviour/abuse of power is going on.
the only actresess that i would say are totally safe from weird scenes with sam levinson are zendaya, cause she's an a-lister and there's no show without her, and maude apatow, cause she's a nepobaby
I am so scared for human kind reading commets like this
Levinson saying he canât relate to Kat screams âI only care about women when theyâre hotâ (not that Barbie Ferreira isnât hot, but sheâs not thin like the other actresses in the show), which isnât surprising at all đ
Men often don't care about a beautiful face if the one who wears it isn't thin
â@@namkia205 exactly this! it's repulsive!
It was also weird to me that she is the only curvy character...like every other character is skinny. What about characters who are still in the normal weight range or slightly over-weight? Or teenagers with acne? Like why do you do a show about high-schoolers if it isn't realistic and they all look and act like college kids.
@@angies8717 cause he's a creep that gets off to sydney's boobs
After hearing about The Idol drama, I'm convinced he got bored writing for Kat simply because he doesn't want to fuck her. Her going on her cam girl arc was probably for some surface-level subversion and lulz for him.
This show is gonna age like milk tbh
The two special episodes were the peak of the show!

i think the time jump is smart for season 3 because he has set these high situations that will easily have a dramatic affect for the future make it so that season 3 dives into the past aka/ right after season 2 enda
@@kshtjmlk I will never forget season 1 like it was a cultural reset
I haven't seen the show because imo one aspect is that shows that should have been set in college but creepily chosen to be set in high school is going to scream outdated in the future

I been saying this but people get mad

honestly, i canât even tell if s3 will be good or not. the show easily couldâve been set in college, and everything wouldâve been slightly more realistic (easier access to parties/sexual situations without parental intervention) w/ the parents already absent as much as they were. Not everyone lives on campus, so pretty much all of the situations w/ Rue and Nate and their parents couldâve still occurred.
rueâs storyline seems to be the only one that was actually completed, whereas maddy/cassie/jules all regressed in development.
Jules realized she was a lesbian but was written as cheating with a man. Maddy was written as having gotten over an abusive relationship only to be exposed to it again because âreasons.â Cassieâs Nate plot made sense to me, but it seemed to be glamorizing her behavior by showing it so blatantly with zero self awareness with Cassie as to how she was hurting Maddy and playing victim when she, being incredibly extroverted, wouldâve been able to explain how he manipulated her and was drunk if she could also as easily explain how she did nothing wrong toward Maddy.
this wouldâve been amazing if the show was set in college or something
@@iheartkristal i feel it wouldnât really fix a lot of the plot holes, but the show wouldâve been given slightly less constraint and much more freedom had it been set in college. then thereâs be no need for the time jump. it would also be nice just seeing people in their early 20s (which the characters will now be) but they already started out as glossed up teenagers so it would be hard to distance from that and then skip over the huge development everyone wouldâve had from 16 to 23
Seeing Jules go through realizing her sexuality and accepting you dont have to like men to be feminine was really important to me as a lesbian myself, though shes likely bisexual considering. Either way seeing a wlw relationship unfold on screen is very rare and therefore is pretty personal to me. Though i cant say their relationship was the healthiest it was something, and seeing it reduced to a love triangle with a fucking man made be furious and ruined jules character. Very shitty writing
jules never confirmed being a lesbian tho . also maddy shown lots of character development, it seems like she completely let go of Nate, got a job she enjoyed (babysitting), and just overall not as rude and cold hearted as she was in season 1, like the fact that she lied abt being blacked out and made nate beat up that boy, or thinking Nate did nothing wrong after chocking her, and just making everything about her. cassie yeah her character did go downhill but she was never innocent. she cheated and wore a bra out knowing her bf didnât want that, and she just had no self respect in general. this season she fcked her bsfâs ex while drunk and he was the one who wanted to do that and he literally just gave her a ride and a drink (maybe she felt she needed to do something in return?) , iâd say thatâs not as bad as cheating . and for Jules she was never really the best person , Iâm not even gonna go into it but she just wasnât . also i think Nate had some character development , he sent his dad to jail (deserved) , gave Jules the tape (even tho he did something horrible to get it) , let Cassie move in w him , at the play he didnât deny he was gay but just said the play was homophobic , and told Cassie that that night was a mistake and theyâre never doing it again (which Cassie got mad at and ran away and he chased after her even though that wasnât necessary.
i agree with everything besides the part about Cassieâs storyline making sense. the parallel shots between her father and Nate were filmed really well. that being said, i donât understand why it had to be Nate of all people. season 1 sets Maddy and Cassie up to be really great friends and while i understand that doesnât guarantee a stable friendship throughout the show⊠it just came out of nowhere for me. sure Cassie has daddy issues but iâm not sure how that correlates to her ending up with her best friends ex-boyfriend. i get it, he was giving her the right amount of attention at the right amount of time but there was no indication that she ever had anyyyy interest in him. as for Nate, he quite literally stated how little he thought of her in the first season. knowing Sam Levinson it seems like he wanted an excuse to get Sydney naked on-screen with the other heartthrob on the show. everything that man has come up with after season 1 seems to appear out of thin air without any rhyme or reason behind the characterâs actions. if his intent was to make a show about messed-up people who make poor decisions, he shouldâve taken a few notes from Shamelessâs book and actually written his characters with some depth and motives to explain their poor decisions. the whole daddy issues explanation is shallow and predictable, but that could just be me.

To be fair. He was only in the show because he was dating Cassie. He's in college out of town, so it only makes sense we only saw him in the new year eve party since he's in town.
Skins is one of my favorite shows of all time. The writers would bring the actors in (who were all teenagers at the time) to get their input. I think that really made the show what it was. I know the actors aren't teenagers on Euphoria but their input would probably help a lot, they all seem to have a great grasp on the characters.
đŻ
THISSSSSSSSđ„đ„đ„đ„
its like when Jules got her own ep written by Hunter, it was the BEST thing for her character because of Hunter's input but for some reason Sam just..won't do it again
Season 1-2 of Euphoria takes place in 2017-2018 bc Rue was born 2 days after 9/11 in 2001 and is a junior in high school in those seasons and sheâs 16-17 in season 1 & 2. So with a 5 year jump theyâd actually be in 2022-2023
There's a scene in episode 5/6 where it says it's October 2018, S2 ends during the same school year in early 2019 so it'll be 2024, probably whenever S3 comes out
@@PurpleFX1 which is fine too. the overall point of the original comment is the time jump brings the plot (close) to present day.
Could be to spare us the covid storylines
i wonder if the jump is also to avoid having to deal with/address the pandemic.
season 2 is new years 2019
Sam Levinson is just doing anything with this show they will no longer be in high school bc he doesn't know where else to go with these characters in high school. And the only reason for the time jump is so he can put them in adult situations without being judged for their age. Season 2 was awful and all over the place writing wise.
Honestly the only reason why people considered it good is because the drama distracted us from the bad writing.
â@Bloxer Rigims Zendaya's Acting in episode 5 is what made people feel as though the season as a whole was good.
itâs the actors that make this show good, people grew to love them and the fact that zendaya leads it is another reason why euphoria grabbed everyoneâs attention in 2018. would this show have the same impact if this cast was a set of new actors navigating through a poor plot, im not so sure.
@@iheartkristal on top of that euphorias cinematography is amazing, which is also very distracting. Its a beautiful show. The actors and cinematography make sure of that. But like you said, it distracts you. The second you snap out of the trance you realize how disastrous the writing is lol
shows entertaining, and stunning to watch. A lot of ppl enjoy it and it's kind of just a trend to hate on it now and Levison. But everybody is gonna be back for S3 sooo.
Itâs wild that the writers felt there was nowhere for Kat to go. Her storyline was one of the most teenage things out of all the entire characters. Maybe because they were obsessed with writing really harsh storylines of abuse and drug addiction, etc., they forgot that a story about becoming self-assured and coming to terms with your body is so integral to the teenage experience. They just didnât respect her enough to give her arc more depth and execute.

I don't have answers to all of your questions... but Mackay is in college. Outside of Cassie, why would he be hanging out with a bunch of high schoolers?
â@@nadiauzoma8031 They had already established him as a character. I know there was kinda of a beef with the actor not taking vaccines, but story wise, you can't just pretend nothing happened. It makes no sense. He was also friend's with Nate. It has a lot of loose ends.

idk how the hell sam can convincingly pull off this time jump with the way the storylines were left from s2. fez arrested, ash dead, maddy and cassie smacking each other into walls over a man who hates them both, rue owing money to laurie and the horror show that is nate...sam is a mediocre writer at the best of times, s3 is gonna be a hot mess.

Easy do flashbacks to fill in the gaps of what we missed due to the time jump
something i really wanna see is Cassie having some self evaluation or some kind of self reflection. like i would love to see her take a long break from dating to focus on herself more
EXACTLYY and I think that's where the end of season 1 was leading bc of Cassie saying she was going to be single for a while. It would've been nice to see her go to therapy and learn thru her co dependency issues... that would have been a real, healthy character development and a good example. But noooo they had to put her with Nate and hurt her more ugh. I also thought it'd be nice to see her get into fashion? @@april-ellaYES, I pray that Sam doesnât ruin her character even more . Like at least show that sheâs trying to get therapy and be away from Nate
My issue isnât that Levinsonâs directing will become more sexually explicit with aged up characters (although Iâd be shocked if he can do worse), my issue is that it wonât improve lol. I feel like the only reason for aging the characters up would be so that Sam could essentially direct softcore-esque content without being labeled a pdf file. He most definitely chose not to compromise on the nudity. With proper writing, I can see the show working with two timelines through flashbacks, showing how high school has affected the characters in their early adulthood.
It might not make complete sense, but I guess it could help with explaining the actors getting progressively older- a lot of them are aging out of being able to play teens convincingly. They filmed most of s1 in 2018 which doesnât seem like a long time ago, but 5 years does a lot when youâre in your 20s. Iâm the same age as zendaya and I 100% donât look as baby as I did in 2018, so maybe itâll be a good thing if only Sam hired a writing team đ

I hope that Sam isnât using this time jump to excuse using more nudity b/c âthey arenât teenagers anymoreâ.
Iâm happy thereâs a time jump. We have way too many shows over sexualizing and misrepresenting teenagers. Itâs lowkey pedophilic considering the writer is a grown ass man who keeps writing sex scenes đ
Yeahh⊠VERY weird
đŻ
While yes, it is weird that grown men are writing these shows and the writer for euphoria is actually really creepy in general euphoria does a really good job at showing the realistic dark side of a lot of peoples teenage years I went through almost the exact same thing as Sydneyâs character, one of my friends actually took the guy who recorded then having sex without her permission and giving it out to people to court, drug use was very prevalent in my school kids would drop acid on the bus, smoke in the bathrooms, cocaine was also a widely used drug all 4 years, and there was lots of drinking and partying sometimes the drinking came to school as well (teaxher and student) I was a guilty party in that I would literally take cups of vodka and water using frozen fruit to flavor it and cover the smell, every year there was at least one teacher arrested for being a pedophile in the district, fighting was a big thing, sexual assault and consensual sexual activity happened all the time and not always in private places you would expect it to happen a lot of people got caught doing it on the auditorium stage
Yeah and the scenes donât even support the story. Itâs weird
It's so unrealistic and creepy I had to stop watching half way through season 1.
Honestly, I don't even think I want there to be another season. That last one was rough on so many levels, and I'd rather watch anything else at this point
I seriously thought the entire point of Elliot was that he was going to be a 1-season character who gets killed as a result of Rue's drug problems and that was going to be the "wake up" call to Rue.
actually the show takes place a few years back! season 1 takes place in 2018 and season 2 takes place in 2019. so if they do a 5 year time jump, season 3 would actually take place in 2024.

I really wish that Cassie's story in season 2 was more about self discovery without the need of men in her life because I feel like the first season was so full of Cassie wanting to be loved by other people it just feels weird that they could should her and Maddie's relationship deepen because I feel like in the first season there wasn't a whole lot there
I think Cassie's storyline was realistic. This type of trauma with father and men don't go away in a year. It can take lors of drama also, to realise at such young age you actually are traumatised to that point and can do something about it without abandoning who you are, that your problems are not your core self. If she gets better it will probably happen once she is adult after a lot more things happening to her.
That self discovery rarely happens in your teens and doesn't kick in until several relationships later.
i really hope they'll include more of gia's life and her high school/college experience without rue bc i feel like s2 did not do her justice
I really hope the show sstays good, because S1 was soooo good and it would suck to see it ruined.
as a person who was forced into sex work as a child, kats arc really upset me, because all those things aren't "empowering" or whatever, they're traumatizing, and nothing happens? idk i hate how it was handled.
its sooo uncomfortable đđ im so sorry that happened to you, the same kind of thing happened to me and its not cool or empowering...kat is a child....
I luckily havenât been through that but I agree. It is not empowering, itâs extremely traumatizing. And itâs disgusting that the show perpetrates it that way. Sheâs basically only 16! What is this saying to young teenage girls including me?
ngl iâm not that against the 5 year time jumps because there wasnât really anything else left to say/drive the plot forward âchronologicallyâ (except maybe the money Rue owes to that drug dealer). like, Rue stayed sober (as she said at the end of the finale), Jules is out of Rueâs life, Ashtrayâs dead fs, Fez got arrested, Maddy is free from the Nate-shackles, Lexi probs went to uni, and Cassie, girl is def in therapy. to show the whole ordeal of Cassie and Maddyâs drama for another year, plus Lexiâs loneliness bc of Fez, and Rue and all that is js gonna feel like the dramaâs being stretched out and it will eventually become boring.
and I donât think HBO would make it like Riverdale, bc unlike Netflix, HBO isnât dependent on the binge-worthiness of a series, itâs dependent on authenticity and actual good written characters and episodes.
(also half the cast would be in their thirties playing highschoolers)
Iâm honestly not mad at thisâŠâŠIâm kinda here for it too but I wouldâve liked to see a college time jump instead
I can see Nate unfortunately doing well in those five years - maybe he got a football scholarship and is studying in order to take over his fathers business though maybe he is having trouble being taken seriously because of the aftermath of his fatherâs reputation being destroyed after he had turned him in - maybe he is still dating Cassie because she is having a hard time escaping his grasp (maybe she even has another pregnancy scare) and itâs like Nate is following in his dads footsteps being trapped with kids in a loveless marriage. I can see Lexi being decently successful as a script writer maybe she frequently visits Fez in jail having not gotten over him, but he kinda pushes her away scared to bring her back into his mess but she keeps on trying. Maddie is probably off somewhere living her life - I canât see her staying in the same town honestly and same with Jules. They probably both ran off to the city and are off doing there own thing - Nate probably stalks Maddie on instagram on a daily. Jules would be in a relationship (maybe studying fashion) and maybe she tries to mend things with Rue, but Rue sees it as her rubbing in her face that she is doing well and is a happy relationship which could bring Rue to relapsing again. Iâm actually excited to see what they do with this concept
I agree with you about the HBO vs CW thing. Even if season 3 is the worst season of Euphoria, it will still be miles above the utter trash that is Riverdale and many other similar shows on other networks, just because much of HBO's reputation relies on maintaining some level of quality for their content.
I wonder how theyâre even gonna force them to interact if theyâre all adults đ cuz they def donât seem like a group of ppl to either go to college or stay in contact đ
Ah yes no longer in Highschool so we can't complain about the excessive explicit sexual content
Now it can be a full on porno, I guess đ
Unfortunately thereâs plenty of high schoolers who experiment and will continue to experiment with alcohol (literally a majority of American teens from ages 14-18 have had at least 2-3 alcohol drinks at a high school party), have taken some type of drugs, have smoked weed and vaped, and arenât virgins
I thought it was fine since I'm 18-19
I havenât watched Euphoria, but I think that more people should be included in the writing of the show, so therefore, WE WANT MORE PEOPLE TO BE IN THE ROOM WHERE IT HAPPENS
How you watched Euphoria and have this strong opinion omg đ
his thing about not relating to cat is SO dumb. Like ok but u relate to jules? make it make sense
Kat was my favorite character in season 1 because I related so much to her. The all confusion she had about sexual liberation, putting herself in very dangerous situations because she wanted to seem confident in her body. She wanted to stand for herself but still felt insecure when it came to Ethan. The way she tried so hard to be the âcool girlâ to fit in parties, to loose her naive and quiet girl image. I did think all of that was the most relatable thing ever, I really appreciate her. And so I was so happy when she had a quite satisfying ending, admitting openly her insecurities and her feelings to Ethan. I thought that was really the cutest thing and also it was a very refreshing storyline considering the others characters storylinesâŠAy I was very very disappointed to not find this Kat in season 2, she was useless and mean. And her character being absent also condemned Ethan character I think, thatâs why I guess Sam decided to give up the storyline around their relationship. To permit Ethan to have others scenes without Kat. But honestly I donât think Ethan alone is a valuable character for the plot, he was mainly a comfort character for Kat storylineâŠSo atp I donât even think Ethan gonna appeared anymore which is infuriating to me because I also liked him. But Iâm starting to think that every little thing I appreciated in Euphoria plot slowly disappearing, Iâm mad đđ
In my opinion Sam Levinson should not be allowed to be Director and Writer at the same time.
He does a poor job at both and is also nasty to his workers, his projects are style without substance.
"Style without substance" is the perfect way to describe his writing style.
Your comment about gen z early adulthood being a gap in media representation is so intriguing. I would argue that HBO Girls was kind of that show equivalent for millennials but we need something like that (which is more diverse hopefully..) for Gen Z
how old is issa raye ..she had show but it was kindof millennial young, it's first season... But I'm not sure about new Rap shit. If they do a 5 year jump would the move location... Why would most ppl stay on this small town? Did HBO can

Rumi we NEED that âThe Idolâ review when it comes out ! đđ€
Amongst Rue, Jules, and Elliot's friendship I definitely feel like Elliot is going to die within the time jump or before the time jump. My reason is Elliot uses drugs A LOT, to the point you can tell he's hiding or coping with something. Rue has her year or months of being clean, but Elliot seems to be using especially when they were in his bedroom. How he spoke about his family, his facial expression seeming to be depressed all the time or really high, if he does cause trouble and have fun, he still manages to pull out a form of drug or alcohol to numb out whatever it is. I think him dying will definitely shake up Rue and Jules relationship in some form. Whether that drives them away from each other more or realize all they have is each other at that point.
I really like your idea and it makes lots of sense, but it would also make sense that Rue and Jules don't even know each others anymore and reflect that as a teen your first love seems so important and once you are an adult you don't even remember their face even though thinking fondly of what you had together.
Yeah I personally want Jules out of the show, I hate him so much
@@NoNonsenseSpider You hate him?

Sam Levinson had similar critiques about his writing and character development on Malcom & Marie too.
he did that one too??
@@imuRgency Yeah đ
M and m was so bad
Iâm not buying the reason Kat was removed from the show. Even if itâs the real reason, he also doesnât know anything about being poor, bipoc, trans or femme. Julesâ special episode was mostly written by Hunter if Iâm not wrong and it seems like Barbie tried talking to Sam so why was the conclusion removing her from the show? Was he not negotiable?
Katâs character is the only one with a thicker body type while everyone else is super thin so itâs upsetting Sam didnât know what to do with her but also that she was the sole representation fat people had. Similar to Mackay, removing that one character completely removed a whole demographic to represent which is a faulty aspect of the show imo.
The episode Hunter wrote was so good. Actually both special episodes were really really good, very reflective. I hope to see more of that in season 3 instead of too much action.
This next season's gonna be...interesting.... I don't really know what to expect with Sam, especially the sexualization. But overall I think if we do get it it'll have a lot more action. I honestly don't want a time jump.
I need to see Maddie's character not just heal but given full access to her emotions. Her character being a fan favorite dosent mean it's not a harmful sterotype. The idea in our culture of women of color being expected and demanded to be strong and tough all the time while Cassie, blonde white girl, is regularly collapsing into tears. Cassie is entitled to her emotions. Why couldn't Maddie be allowed the same softness and vulnerability?
Season 2 premiere is new years 2020. If they do a 5 year time jump it should take place in 2025. As for Rue owing Laurie money wonât be an issue, in the scene where the FBI raids fezâs house, fbi was listening to what theyâre talking about, thatâs why Faye started blaming everything on Laurie because she knew that the fbi would figure it out. Faye even said her address. Faye gave the FBI lauries info. They are gonna raid Laurieâs house, find all her drugs, put her in jail and then she wonât be able to do anything to rue, Iâm guessing they probably raid her house very shortly after they heard Faye so by the time S3 drops sheâll long be in jail.
Just because she is in jail does not mean Rue will be safe big drug dealers do not play like that
Iâm worried. I never like when a show does a time jump.
itâs always so riskyyy
Desperate housewives made it work
Omg the mustache!! You look so good
iâm scared too chileâŠi donât know what to expect đ..
i love how while youâre talking about your points youâre also including clips from euphoria. love love love that. amazing content.
If Euphoria was happening in real time, then Season 1 and 2 both took place in 2018/2019 going into 2019/2020. So doing a 5 year time jump ~technically~ wouldn't be moving it that far in the future. It would honestly have them match the age/time period we are in now. Probably their way of jumping over the idea of the pandemic without it seeming too far off from reality.
Someone said Rue was born in 2001 and going off of that it will be 2022 to 2023 with the jump
I hope this is the last season and itâs not left on a cliff hanger. It needs a proper ending and I feel like they want to do a time jump it shouldnât be more than two years. Also I feel like the first three episodes should continue from the end of season 2 and then the next six or seven episodes be the time jump.
i strongly agree w the first few episodes wrapping up everything from high school and then doing the time jump that makes the most sense and would set everything up nicely for the time jump. but w sam levinson u never knowđ„Ž
This show could have been two seasons if we being honest
Iâve always felt like this show should never have been set in a high school because itâs way too much of a mature story for it to be about minors. The only reason why this show didnât face more backlash is because itâs objectively beautiful and the costuming is super stylish.
Honestly I feel like the story really lost its footing in season 2, the story wasnât bad in season 1 but really fell apart as the series progressed. Plus Sam Levinson (I think thatâs his name) is a MAJOR creep.
You're a great speaker, natural and relaxed. Love it..
So glad I just stumbled across your channel. This is all news to me & I loved your take on it. Great video!
this reminds me of when desperate housewives did the 5 year time jump đ„Ž maybe weâll have flashbacks
i have a genuine theory that Kat is going to get literally killed off with a brain condition and that her breakup with ethan was honest , unhinged probably but i am rooting for it idk
really looking forward to the sam levinson video once idol comes out, will defs keep a look out for that! love your content, hope you're doing well!
Hey, just came across your social media page, I play Bruce Sr in euphoria season 2 episodes 1,3 and 5. Season 3 is going to be interesting. Thanks for covering this incredible HBO max series.
Being 14 when euphoria s1 dropped and 18/19 when s3 is dropped is the definition of growing up with the show đđ
yikes. not the show id wish on anyone to grow up with đ
@@yafoundmehoorah I agree đ Good thing I couldnât relate to any of the characters in the show tho đđ
Oof, relatable. Was 16 when I started and am turning 20 in Octoberđ, though S1 Cassie was kinda relatable to me tbh
So grateful I had skins to grow up with!
i think the time jump was planned out in advance JUST bc rue is retrospectively narrating the whole time but this is so easy to fuck upppp, so im hellaaaa nervous đ
20% chance it works, show is likely a goner
Such a great video. You are lovely †the bird of paradise next to you is beautiful. Looking forward to more videos xx
waiting for sam levinson effect video! definitely would watch:)
after sam made the idol iâm afraid for anything that man works on
The idol was a moment and not a good one
Idol didnt even come out yet
â@@0912sooliI mean after firing the orginal show director because the show was leaning too much into a female perspective in the weekends opinion, coupled with what the plot is and hiring Sam it's probably going to be a shitshow
âââ@@0912sooli there was alot of controversy about the script that sam rewrote (it was previously a woman who wrote the script, but sam and the weeknd said it leaned "too much into the female perspective" even tho the main character is female đ)

I just discovered your channel, let me just say I love all your thoughts on shows I like. You're very well-spoken.
This 5 year jump reminds me of On My Block. How the group had to come back together after being separated. But they could easily introduce new characters and completely change everyones character personalities. There's no way I see every character being the exact same with this time jump.
I donât mind the five your time jump, I think thatâs gonna be a good way to explain why cat is inextricably gone, and also, itâs very clear by season two that theyâve outgrown the high school setting. Nothing happens in the school. The characters arenât really students by that point.
For me season 2 set up so much but didnât deliver, and Iâm not even talking about my expectations for it. I really thought that Euphoria would be this generations version of Skins, but with rumoured time, jumps and what we got in season two Iâm not so sure. I will be curious to see what season three has to offer.
I've deeply hated Sam Levinson since S2 aired for what he did to jules and kat and I'm so happy others are finally seeing it too because he is just misogynistic... There is no other emphasis for the way he's treated jules and kat and what he did with their stories in both seasons (getting fucked by older men and camming at 16 is NOT empowerment!!!!!!) Also after seeing the whole mess with the idol and sam levinsons mistreatment of lily Rose depp just confirmed everyhting I needed to know
truth
Fezz is such an interesting character and great actor. I hope we do get his continuing story even if itâs prison.
girl if my girl jules doesnt get the character development she needs i will be so mad bc i loveee her
I hope he gets taken out of the show, I hate him lolll
HE is a man. Jules is a MAN
@@NoNonsenseSpiderme too. He sucks
@@user-id3bu4vn8q I know
I remember in the first episode Rue narrating that it's 2019, meaning that season 2 took place early 2020, so a five year time jump would probably mean 2025 (close to the same time season 3 would be airing)
Just want to say i just discovered your channel and love your content! Youâre so well spoken and really have great perspective for the young adult age group (which Iâm apart of aha)

To be honest, I felt like season 2 was a mess so my expectations have been low. Then when all the stuff went down with Barbie Ferriera I gave up on the show. Sam Levinson is going to wreck season 3 even worse
