- Which Mazda Carbon Edition do you prefer? This Carbon Edition showdown is between the 2024 Mazda CX-5 and Mazda CX-30. There is a lot of similar equipment including the Polymetal Gray exterior color and Red Leather seats inside. Also the gloss black wheels and side mirrors make the Carbon Edition special.
Both of these Mazda crossovers are standard with i-Activ AWD, i-Activsense safety suite, and the SkyActiv G 2.5 L 4 cylinder engine with 6-speed Automatic transmission. The differences in equipment are what makes the CX 5 higher priced than the CX 30. The CX-5 Carbon Edition adds a rear power liftgate, power front passenger seat, and Bose Sound with SiriusXM satellite radio.

The cladding on the 30 is too thick and ugly.. They should shrink it to normal size on the 25 model..No cylinder deactivation & built in Japan makes the 5 the winner..

Why the 30 still have chrome on the grille, even on the C E?
Not offering a turbo on a Carbon Edition makes no sense.
They do have the Carbon Turbo, but it’s not the same really.

Just can’t get into the red colored seats.

What is the size difference between the 2 like width and length. I really like these 2 vehicle's and they are going to be my next choice 1 or the other. But I hate those black rims and red interior is hideous looking.

@@MrsMac3099 The Carbon trims shown are NA. Carbon Turbo for the CX-30 would be Zircon Sand and Zircon Sand or Rhodium White for the CX-5 Carbon Turbo. Both have the terracotta interior color.
I just want to be able to buy that CX-30 Carbon with a turbo. I want the polymetal grey + red interior combo with a turbo but for some reason Mazda forces you into the sand + terracotta combo with the Carbon turbo...
I've been a loyal mazda customer the last 15 years, bought around 4 mazdas, I was on the market for a cx70, had a terrible experience at the dealer, they wanted to give me a hight apr with excellent credit, I was trading my mazda 6 2020 but they wanted to pay nothing for my car. I decided to check other brands and bought a VW Atlas peak edition. They gave me 2,000 more for my mazda 6, gave me a better apr. It's a shame mazda lost me as a customer
