  • The Linked Treble Crochet Stitch is a fun stitch to work. The end result is a solid fabric that is the same on both sides. If you love Tunisian crochet, this stitch has the same feel.

    This looks like Tunisian crochet for each treble stitch. Very cool!

    I'm making a crochet hook case but I'm modifying it to fit ergonomic hooks. Because I made the slots larger I had to do a triple crochet in the return row section instead of DC. In turn that made holes which aren't good for a hook case. So I thought okay I will link that one stitch where the slot starts. Then I decided to do the whole row linked. Then decided to do the whole case with linked stitches. It's working wonderfully. Perfect for this project. Might even make a video.

    I make pretty squares as hot pads and use this as the backing, mainly because I have an attention problem. Making 2 of anything no matter how pretty bores me. 🤣 So I have one pretty side and one side plain. Thanks I've been doing the linked double, this is a dream for my impatient self, even quicker!

    Thank you for this video. I have an interest in trying tunesian crochet but this would be a great alternative. I noticed that on the first row of chains it looks like you only go through the top loop and not in the "v"?

    I like this stitch very much. I noticed that you use Pantone yarn in almost every tutorial to create this very defined stitch. It does not work up so beautifully and defined with yarns that have different winds or helos. but very pretty stitch none the less

    • @RichTexturesCrochet
      @RichTexturesCrochet  Před 3 lety +1

      I purchase my Caron x Pantone from the Yarnspirations website. While i do have several hanks of the yarn, I will confess that the yarn I use in my videos I reuse over and over again :)

    • @mls_words_of_wisdom
      @mls_words_of_wisdom Před 3 lety

      @@RichTexturesCrochet You know what might be interesting, is use that Caron Patons yarn, and then use something like Redheart supersaver or something with a lot of color and talk about what the different texture and color of the yarns do to the stitch and the illusion of the pattern. Some stitches look really good and pop with light colored yarn and some get lost in darker color or yarn that is a different weight or has different color variations. Know what I mean? You probably do because you’re a professional! Maybe you’ve already done that and I missed it because I’m new to your wonderful channel.
