Awesome! Nice to get a home perspective for enjoying 5-WAY Cookware! I would have never thought about searing meatloaf that way or that bread could get a better crust in a home oven! So cool! 👍😎

This is what I'm primarily doing with my new 5-way. I'll have some of the camping stuff, including the G2 stove, but I will mostly be using the cast iron pieces with my stove in the kitchen. Since I am single I think these pieces are perfect for cooking for one. I use the Thermapen too. I suspect this will not only be the perfect size for a small single loaf but the pieces will allow me to make my loaf nice and crusty. I'll be doing the final proof and baking mine in the casserole rather than the griddle lid. I'll use the lid at first, then take it off. For the pizza I would suggest sprinkling corn meal on the pan before putting the crust on it. This provides a bit of air space for the bottom to get crustier. I would also pre-heat the griddle prior to oiling and sprinkling with corn meal. I would put the crust in, coat with a little olive oil, put it in the oven for a few minutes, then take it out, put the toppings on and put it in to finish. I think you'll find you'll get a crustier bottom and the crust will be a bit less soggy from the sauce. It will also rise a bit.

I always lightly oil my bowl and plastic wrap for easier removal. Looks awesome!

Came here for the firebox video, left with a craving for meatloaf and freshly baked bread. Lol. I hit that subscribe button for more yummy meals like this one. Looking forward to seeing what else you can do with the firebox gear.

Awesome meatloaf, minced is the size for the chopped onions lol sorry I used to be a cook and had to mention the term. Typing while you do the bread, I'm definitely going to love my set when it arrives, I love cooking so a cookware set that's as useful in the home as the camp is an awesome thing in my mind. Thank you for the video, amazing looking meatloaf

Just because it is intended for being used camping, doesn’t mean you can’t use it at home!😂

You really should smell you meat before just using it... it is often not good and your kids will thank you. Also, NEVER put a hot pan on your wood cutting board.... ughhh!
