She dedicated this song to a very good friend of her that suffered from domestic abuse. She brought the issue of domestic abuse with this song to the forefront of Spanish society. Many laws changed, the women suffering had couple of telephone lines to denounce it. The different governments of Spain implement it a policy of zero tolerance from domestic abuse and offered protection for many women suffering it. A lot needs to be done but many people in Spain (Me included) are very grateful to Diana for bringing this suffering to the public knowledge. She is a true artist. Thank you so much for your reaction to her!

The song tells the story of a woman who has had enough mistreating and killed her partner. While he's dying, he asks for her forgiveness. Listen the song again with that in mind
I never thought she really killed her partner at all in the song, but rather he is metaphorically dead for her. Or rather, her love is dead. Am I the only one who heard "gracias" instead of "da Dios" xD 1:41 That supports the theory of how a word like Zeus would come close to a word like Deus or Dios.
Could be an Almodovar movie, or a stand alone short film. A woman stares at a knife's blade shining in moonlight, she slowly moves around the house, we see she has taken it on her hand, but mostly we see close ups of her face, telling this story on her eyes. Mixed in are flashbacks of her life; kills husband while we see flashbacks and we listen to this song, not knowing well what is happening.
