This is the most toxic song ever made, every line and sentence is made to get stuck in your head. Even the bloody breakdown, with them ooh ooh. I love this song.
That's the best thing about Japanese music. Only English gets stuck in my head. Catchy songs drive me crazy in English but in Japanese they're fine.

I had to laugh at the "crap, I actually like this" line lol.
All art is subjective, people need to remember that. But, it made you smile, have some fun and hum along. That's a pretty successful song in my book.
Sometimes you need pounding drums, wailing guitars and soul-rending scream vocals about descending into hell for an eternity of damnation. And sometimes you need "Bun, bun, bun, ooh, ooh"
Thanks from Japan 有難う💛。I witnessed the live debut and the second performance of RATATATA by BABYMETAL and Electric Callboy together in the two-day Fox_Fest on May 25 / 26 (Japan time) . Fun, happy, exhilarating, bubbly... Those words I could think of, as you can imagine. The song was played in the BABYMETAL's setlist in the festival. So the band in the back of the girls and Nico / Kevin was BM's West Kami Band in place of EC band that played in this MV. That was great, too.
The interchangeability between the two versatile bands is good. EC boys can join BM concerts and BM girls can show up in EC's worldwide 😍
I love where you tried to keep a straight face from the beginning, but from 00:40 to 01:00, just under that 20 seconds the smile comes and at the end they gotcha 😄 High five

Electric Callboy are the most entertaining band in the world right now, not a bad song on last 2 albums and live shows just a mass rave of metal riffs that fill audiences with joy!!

Also that "ooh ooh" actually turned out EPIC when thousands of people doing that during the live performance of this song!

Had a feeling when you said Electric Callboy and BabyMetal with a slight frown, as you said BabyMetal. But as it progressed, the frown disappeared 😁 great collaboration, and bands do collaborations with BabyMetal for a good reason everything they touch turns to gold 2.8 million views in 4 days and rising 😁

Yeah this song is a weapon of war. One designed for social media warfare. As a Babymetal and Electric Callboy fan, at first I thought the song was ok. But upon repeated listens I was like “Oh no, what have they unleashed!?”
Duuude, I'm so with you.. as a big Babymetal fan I first thought this is just ok, good collab with party masters EC.. but 5 days later and maybe 100+ reaction videos later, this song is a masterpiece of an earworm. Those fortunate to watch them perform this live in upcoming European festivals will def go bonkers 😂

This is so addictive, First I was like meh but after the third time I heard it I just love it! And now it is my go to for watching people reacti to it. And I got to say so far not one reactor that has hated it. And I have seen at least 50 this far. And there is still a suprising amount of people that never heard of Electric Callboy!!! WTF! I, too, kinda didn't jive with this at first. But damn if it isn't a permanent fixture in my brain now. It's more poppy than I normally prefer, but I find myself loving it more and more as I continue to listen. I can totally relate to your reaction to it, and it made me laugh!
Well the song has about 4 different hooks and they are realky mixed in the end. Where you really need to get deep down to determine who made what. They describe it as a 50/50 song.
You want heavy from Babymetal? Headbanger, Road of Resistance, Monochrome, Metali, and the classic Ijime Dame Zettai.

I love Babymetal and didn't know much about EC before this and actually thought it was mid when I heard just the audio.
Then I saw the video and it's somehow just infected my summer and I've jammed it like 50 times. Definitely the bopper party song of the year for sure.
They're all genius, and I'm really hoping Babymetal is doing a whole album of crossover songs.
I felt the same way before I saw the video. I'm not sure that's a positive if it doesn't stand on its own though
@@apoc519 It technically does. You just didn't listen often enough, to allow it to grow on you. I felt the same way to be honest. The music video gives you additional "stimulation" that enhances this process. And the smiles to the silly/fun scenes do add a lot to the experience.
I have been smiling constantly for three days now because of this song. It's irresistible.

I'm not sure if you already familiar with BabyMetal but look man, everything help to spread the love for the Fox God.
Yesterday they finished the second and final day of FOX_FEST in Japan and they did the second live performance of this song along with Electric Callboy, everyone went bonkers with this awesome collab, pretty sure it's gonna be the hit of this 2024 summer.
Hopefully they will play this at Download Festival too or any other festival.
Next suggestion to enjoy another different super collab they did recently:

But there is still a difference in _'I don't like it, it's not my style'_ to _'This song is ass'_ or to say it is _gross_ . It's not what you say, but _how_ you say it... therefore my point stands: gatekeeping!
