Dj Slim, I have been a fun and a follower from Kumasi days till date and you're still one of the top guys in my books.
However, let's learn and educate ourselves and the general public.
The president is a political leader who has a time period of leadership. Before Nana became president, the chiefs were in their offices as traditional leaders and they will continue to be traditional leaders even when the president's tenure of office is over.
The president should understand that, he was the visitor at the time regardless of his position and he has to behave as a visitor.
GH Socials, your argument on why should the chief's name come before that of the president does not hold waters, when it comes to acknowledgement in social gathering, they have to mention the host first before the visitors, in this case, the chief is the host so its never a problem when the chief's name comes before the president's name.
Same way, when the chiefs visit the president's office, they have to abide by the formalities.
The most disrespecting moment of this issue was when the body gaurd of the president was ordering the chiefs to be upstanding and he was gesturing with his left hand, such insult on the chiefs should not be condone in anyway.
Slim, the incident happened in Kejebi in the Oti region not in Kyebi as you mentioned.
If Medikal says Eno raps better than Strongman, then he meant to say, Eno is better than himself because we can clearly hear and understand every word when Eno and Strongman rap but we hardly hear all words from him Medikal.
Let's not encourage disrespect to people of their titles and their professions.

The honest issue with the chieftancy thing is that the chiefs would have to stand and shake the president in the flagstaff house but in the chiefs domain, the president was wrong...Even the prince from England has to bow and shake the Asantehene in his domain...Lets not change the narrative because its not a chief you want to respect cus these are customs or traditions

I don't agree with you on the issue of the chief's supposed to get up and greet the president. put the situation in context. you have visited the traditional area of the chief and mind you chieftancy is not political appointment so yes the president can be the first man of the land but that doesn't directly mean the chief reports to the president. Traditional authority is always higher in the traditional area. example the President delegates his power to the regional minister does it make the chiefs start saluting the regional minister ? the president simply doesn't respect tradition.
